i played MC on the pc a couple of times but i never changed the texture packs or used any mods, but i hear a lot of people saying they hate how xbox might not support texture packs and mods. why would people skip out on this game for the xbox just because of this?
Some people have gotten to the point where they can't play the game without their mods and texture packs. I honestly think it's kind of sad, but to each their own.
I personally hope the 360 edition doesn't support mods. I'd actually get it then just so I could play online in an actual vanilla world without all this economy and RPG crap that almost every ****ing server has >.>

I'm usually not trying to be rude. So if a post comes across that way then sorry :]
I really hope that Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition will support Mods and Texture packs. It adds a lot to the game depending on the Mod/Texture pack and increases the fun you can have with your friends. Mods and Texture packs have been really successful on the PC so I do not see why it will not on the Xbox 360.
Most mods are cheats.
The idea that they can't cheat and have to play the same game that everyone else does is.... well, unthinkable.
Those people should stick to the PC version.
I just hope you can get a server on the xbox 360 version, with xbox live it would be so easy to make one, and you could actually talk to people with a mik instead of having to stop playing to type an answer to your friend... what do you guys think about this???
There's a lot of things that some people won't like about the xbox version- but there's a lot of things they will like too (like being able to use a mike). It will be interesting to read some of the posts after it's been out about a week.
my pc is a piece of sh*t right now, i hope they bring things like tekkit over eventually, saw something about notch/mojang semi contracting modders so i hope they can get a deal to use the mods on MC360
