I know you guys don't know much about what the updates will consist of when the game releases, but I was just wondering if when there are updates with the swamp and jungle biomes, will we have to create a totally new world? Seeing as we're paying up to 1200 Microsoft Points, I feel that they should find a way to implement the new biomes and structures like strongholds, too, into previously created worlds.
I assume it will be similar to the PC version where you have to go to new chunks to get the the new stuff... just imagine how pissed people would be if they updated and MC griefed their world by loading a ravine through their house, or generated a crappy looking village over something that they had spent a lot of time on.
Personally, what I am worried about is that since this is Minecraft XBLA and not regular Minecraft, the developers don't need to hold true to the whole "if you buy it now you get future updates for free" plan. I feel that Microsoft is far more likely to do a "buy it now you impatient little bitches, and pay 400 MS points for a village update, 400 MS points for an abandoned mineshaft update, 400 MS points for shroom biomes, 600 ms points for ruined strongholds, etc..." because they are greedy bastards who want as much of your money as they can squeeze out of you. This isn't something I've read somewhere, just a feeling I have.

They specifically said that updates will be free. And also, in Minecraft for PC they've created a way to implement Jungle biomes into pre-existing worlds, so I sort of find your logic invalid.
Get off yer' ass and walk to unloaded chunks.
Ballsack.
Do you have a source?
I don't find any sense in this? If you load chunks, then new biomes won't be able to appear in those chunks that you've already loaded?..

Cynicism? Or just common sense?
