I think the hunger bar would just over complicate things. I mean, with the controls it's allready going to just complicate things to a whole new level. I know the hunger bar won't be out in the start, I'm just worried if it will be out later.

EDIT: I support the hunger bar for pc, but I'm not quite sure if it will work on the xbox as well as it did on pc. Just a concern.

There will be a hunger bar. Just not at release.

I don't see why not, personally. The hunger bar mechanic works better than the old "right click - get health" setup anyway. I don't see why it would complicate it, as the way you consume food items is virtually the same, the only major difference being that instead of the food adding to your health bar, it just adds to your hunger bar.

The hunger bar WILL be added once they update the XBLA version to 1.8. Whether you want it or not, they've already said they're going to update the XBLA version until it catches up to the PC version.

It's on Beta 1.6.6 at the moment, hence the lack of hunger bar. Once it gets to 1.8, there WILL be a hunger bar.

Not going to happen. The XBLA version is confirmed to start in 1.6.6. It's going to eventually be update to the current version which means there will be a hunger bar, so deal with it.

This statement makes absolutely no sense to me. They are both pretty much the exact same game so how would the hunger bar work for one and not the other?

This game is easy enough without the hunger bar. How will you die if your lost or looking for a biome?
Without the hunger bar, theres basicly not alot of importance of other than healing.

With hunger, minecraft will be a challenge.......... sorry steve

The game releases based off of beta 1.6. They will catch up with the full release with updateing. Meaning there WILL be a hunger bar at some point after release.

The hunger bar just makes the game more of a challenge and makes it fun. I mean the only way you would die without the hunger bar on survival mode is getting attacked by mobs and there is no fun in that because you can just hide in a place where no mobs spawn the hunger bar makes it so you get hungry over a long period of time and you have to eat or die. So i say yes to it or falling but you can easly avoid falling

The hunger bar adds depth to the game. The more layers to minecraft the better. Where would we be without a hunger bar... lol hungry much?

The hunger bar makes it a survival game. Also it will be added in when they update the game to the current pc version. So unless they remove it on pc it will be there.
