Just wondering, It would be a good idea if its not planned, Some people don't have xbox live and might wanna buy Minecraft for Xbox.

No. It would be way to much work for Mojang, plus expensive. I'm sorry, but if you want Minecraft for XBOX, you first need to be ripped off by Microsoft and buy XBOX Live.

I've got Xbox live, But my friend doesn't and would love to get minecraft for Xbox 360.

You should be able to make a silver account (A free one.) and still be able to download it. Unless of course internet connection will be a problem.

Why put a game that's only a few mb on a disk? It would be touch work and a waste of disks. Not to mention how expansive it will be

Maybe in the future like they did with the XBL Triple Pack Puts Trials HD, Limbo, and Splosion Man On-Disc but its highly unlikely

all you need to buy arcade games on xbox 360 is a xboxlive silver account aka free so why would you have to buy gold to get it
