I was thinking of some ideas for the Xbox Live version of Minecraft. One of my ideas was that if you Buy the game on your computer, you can get it free or just half (or a discount). Another one was that if you have any worlds/mods/texture packs on your computer/PC you can have it on your Xbox also.
If you agree with me or have any other ideas, reply to this post.
First idea, just no. Example, you should not get Mass Effect 3 for free, half price, or discount just because you bought Mass Effect 2. The same applies to Minecraft. Minecraft PC and Minecraft XBLA are two separate games.
Second idea, just no also. For one, Modding of any kind is not allowed on the Xbox 360 and will result in either a profile ban or complete console IP ban from Xbox Live. You will likely never see legit mods on a console. Also, the worlds idea would only be possible with a file converter. Minecraft on the PC runs on Java, while Minecraft on the Xbox runs on C++. That means everything is coded completely differently.
Ideas for a game that's already pretty much finished and is a mirror image, outside of minor cosmetic changes, of it's PC counterpart just seems redundant.
