I am simply wondering if I will be able to play over xbox live with my friends, and build on the same map as I do on PC version. I am very sorry if this topic has been started already, but I was unable to find one answering my question.

This is exactly what I meant I am sorry i was in PC section, but that isn't an answer to my question it is just babble. I want to know If I can go host a match, and invite my friend from xbox live miles away from me. It is exactly like every other multiplayer game I am just curious yes or no???!!!!

Well this means nothing to me like I already said I am sorry for posting in wrong section so your response serves no purpose. As for your attempt of an answer who cares if I host a match or server in Minecraft it means literally the same thing to me all I wanted was an anser not some fanboys attempt at being too literal

Yes! They have said multiple times that Minecraft will have multiplayer. There have been tons of topics and there is even a stickied post at the top of the forum that answers this question and many others.
