So does anybody know how the Kinect will used or have any ideas on how it could be used.
I think it will probaly use voice.

Even though I absolutely despise the Kinect, I hope it's voice. I have no idea how motion command would work, and if it did, you would look absolutely ridiculous...

Kinect control will be added, but real world use.... no way.

meh, kinect is a little overrated, like a hype word, those detailed panels on the back of boxes that tell you all the great capabilities of your product, yeah that stuff. NOW WITH 10% MORE KINECT!

I think that it would probably be really hard to control and it will be hard to do so for the opening inventory,pausing, ETC. they will probably have to make a whole new gui for the inv stuff.

from what i can tell the kinect would put too much strain on the xbox. The kinect is very resource intensive with motion tracking. They mentioned it once as an idea almost a year ago and since no announcements have been made since. It is still not off the table as an idea so it might happen, but don't get your hopes up.

Anyway if you want to see what it may be like there is a link in my signature that will let you play minecraft with the kinect on your PC. It is fairly of easy to control, but you do look a bit ridiculous.

The only way this could work is if the Kinect plugged you into a Minecraft Matrix, otherwise it would be shitty.
