Yes, I will buy it. On the PC version, I always seem to cheat using mods (it makes the game a bit different :smile.gif: ) On the Xbox, there wont be mods, maybe an addon type thing, but it should be purely vanilla when it is. Also I dont have to be at the desk all the time :tongue.gif:
I like sitting at my desk more than on my gaming chair. I don't really know why. I just find it more comfortable for some reason.
My friend has a 24/7 server and honestly why bother it's going to be better on computer because of texture packs mods easy to download maps I would rather use my microsoft points on some kind of map pack for MW3 or saints row or something
i can see your reasoning for the first sentence, justifying it with a cod map pack does you no good, considering its usually $12 for 3-4 maps and you just abandon them about 8 months later when the next cod game is released.
but nevermind that. now on topic, yes i will get it. i see no reason not too. i cant afford to always play on my pc. it will get slower and older, and i unfortunately will not be able to keep up with its performance as much as i would like. on top of that, about 90% of my friends are xbox gamers(no, not the hyperactive fps mlg retards that most assume make up the xbox community)and i know of maybe 5 people irl that have opened their eyes to pc gaming(only 1-2 of which see the full potential of it) i would enjoy playing with my closest friends on minecraft, seeing as these people love that type of game yet cant play minecraft due to pc/money issues.
the closest to that we've even achieved is playing the not so great knockoffs on xbla, attempting a server with my pc friends, and playing games like mass effect and skyrim at the same time, talking to each other over the mic.
Yes because I will be able to have the settings set high and cause I have a kinect which I really want to try out. Also I'll be able to play with more friends.
There are only three good reasons as to why someone wouldn't buy Minecraft XBLA. One being that they don't own an Xbox obviously. Two being that they can't justify spending money on the same game on a separate platform. And three being that they don't have enough money.
Anything beyond that just becomes "fanboyism" and being a platform elitist.
I'm totally going to purchase this for XBL. This game is soo much fun.I've recently ventured into making mob spawners way way up in the air.Great way to farm bones/strings/gunpowder. I just wonder how it's going to be on XBL.Will we be able to have Mods and Texture packs? And will it be a beta deal like it was on PC at first? Either way i still want it.
.... had alot of fun in total miner and thought that game would be so cool if they had better looking terrian bigger maps, mobs etc.
TM is coming out with an HD texture pack and more mobs shortly (the preview pictures are really cool), and larger worlds is "on the table to be implemented").
As much as I love TM (I play it a lot more than MC), I'll get the xbox version of MC... because it won't have any mods (cheats), and MC on my laptop is playable, but not ideal.
Well, I bought three copies right before beta (mine, boyfriend's & a friend), I got pocket edition on the $0.10 day, so I will likely find a way to scrape up the points to buy it.
I'm actually really excited for the xbox edition, I was hoping they would have released it sooner.
1. Play Minecraft with friends who either
A )Don't have a Minecraft account
B )Can't play Minecraft for some weird technical reason (I followed Minecraft's progression since alpha, but couldn't play on account of computer issues)
2. Play with max settings and no lag (I have a rig from 2002....)
Christianity in a nutshell: We have all sinned, so we deserve eternity in hell. But God (God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit) loved us so much he sent His Son to die for us, to take the punishment meant for us. All we need to do is accept it, and we have heaven headed our way.
I own an XBox and a ps3 and a Pc. I will buy it for Xbox because of the voice chat and its easier to play w/ friends. I think it should be on PS3, though. Really hurting a bunch of gamers, mojang.

If they want to put texture packs, they're going to have to ask for permission from the original creators, and will probably charge for them. I think texture packs are staying on the PC for now.
Needs moar Ps3. Hey they could take advantage of the Move quite well.
