After going through these forums countless times, it becomes more and more apparent that most people A)Don't know how the Xbox works B)Are speculating wildly and passing it off as fact.
Here is what an ideal Minecraft would look like for me:
Single Player:
Split-screen (confirmed)
Possible Xbox-exclusive content
Stay true to Minecraft PC in most respects
Multiplayer:
Have two choices-joining a server(cross-compatibility with PC version) or inviting a friend(s) into your single player world. In-game chat would be nice. Options restricting whether your invitee can place/destroy blocks would be a must.
UPDATES: It would have to receive updates either at the same time or shortly after the PC version. Microsoft is starting to become more lenient with updates.
Framerate:
Yes, it is true that dedicated gaming PCs are much more powerful than the Xbox. But 90% of Minecraft's userbase has an average to below average PC for gaming. Also, as it is made specifically for the Xbox it will run far better as it can be optimized for the hardware. So yes, it will most likely run at around 60 FPS or higher on the equivalent of max settings for MC PC, because the XBLA version was specifically developed for the 360. So the "PC IS SUPERIOR" argument is not applicable for this circumstance.
Finally, cost and release date. I hope to see it 800 MSP or less, but it will most likely be either 1200 or 800. As for release date, I expect sometime in April.
If you still have any questions or ideas, leave them here.
It's going to cost at LEAST 1600 MS points, because they will not charge PC gamers more than Xbox 360 gamers.
Im gonna say its even more than that. Its $26 on PC, so convert that to MS points itll be about 2400 points. But we don;'t know this for sure. Just my guess.
And if anything, has to be skins and texture packs. No idea how the texture packs would work though

Battlefield 1943 only cost 1200 MSP, I believe? It wouldn't make much sense to charge more than that.
Also, this is a topic called an "Ideal Minecraft XBLA". OF COURSE it won't all come true, I just wanted to say what would make the game great.
Also, mods and texture packs ported to the Xbox from the developer would be amazing but most likely won't happen. They could release mod-type things as DLC, free at that.

Think about it this way though since Microsoft paid mojang probably thousands for rights to the game, Maybe this will slow them to charge less you know?
