My guess is they will be separate. Since from what I have heard the xbox version is coming out as 1.6, there will be more updates to the xbox version than the computer version. The two games aren't linked like that, so yeah.

Well I'm hoping its 1.0 at the least. But from screenshots, it looks older. And People on here have been saying it'll be 1.6. I'm hoping they're wrong.

at least notch nor 4j have said anything about the version xd
Who said it has to update version-for-version, much less at the same time?
It is a separate game, after all.
Don't assume that the PC and xbox versions will be exactly alike.

If they want crossplatform they have to keep it at the same version or update as fast as possible
Are you talking about server versions instead of program versions?
I checked the wiki and google and I could not find where different versions couldn't play with each other.

Just as with the game Duke Nukem, the PC version was far richer than the console version. You're correct in the assumption the two are separate but similar games.

Retired StaffAs a company you're obviously not going to push out an outdated product. It'll be 1.8 at minimum. The "Adventure Update."
you cant play minecraft 1.0 with someone with 1.1
