You can't. Servers are not cross compatible, and possibly may not ever be.

melons were added in the adventure update (1.8). 1.1 Official PC release is when regular apples drop off of trees. Otherwise I believe you can only get them from treasure chests in dungeons (not 100% sure on this)

You have to remember a lot of users are young, and we have a lot of new users/members due to the xbox release. You can't expect everyone to know the game inside out. I know I don't know everything there is to minecraft.

I'm not sure of the exact numbers, but they should be fairly uncommon. Yes, these are referred to as Dungeons.

No one knows yet, there's not been official word if we will even have cross compatibly or not.

right now the nether is pretty "empty". All there basically is is unlimited lava (or what seems like it), netherrack, soul sand, and glow stone.

was aiming at new blocks compared to the original world. Exp wont' really add much to the nether. A mob grinder/farm would be much better then hunting for pigman, which don't drop anything currently (i believe).

Actually...no there isn't. Not in the nether currently.

As far as I know you need a facebook account to take screenshots via the pause menu.

i think you will need a facebook account...i will have to check to see if there is another way though...but I highly doubt it since it asks you to sync/allow it.

Herobrine was removed in version 1.6.6 which is when the Xbox 360 version started, so it's safe to say he is gone.


I think that's only golden apples (which can currently be found in chests near monster spawners). Once you can get apples from trees is when apples are actually put in the game. Before that it's just golden apples.

I know golden apples came from dungeon chests. I thought there were regular apples in the game before they dropped from trees though. I could be wrong of course.
