I just want to know, will we have to pay for updates?
I know that it'll be 1.6.6 at launch. But since they plan on bringing us up to current PC version, will we as XBL users have to pay for each update? I'm not sure how Microsoft regulates updates for Arcade games.
My decision to buy this version will be based on the answer to this question.
They've already confirmed that all updates will be free like the PC version. They will likely release DLC for the game though(texture packs, character skins, adventure maps, and possibly mods).

By PC do you mean WindowsComputer? PC just means Personal-Computer, so basicly a MacBook is a PC. And everyone has minecraft for all computer systems, because all you have to do is the same login. So you have it for Computer & Xbox.

Not yet, no. The command feature is being added in minecraft 1.2.* , The latest snapshot.
Creative? No. Multiplayer? Yes.
By multiplayer I meant creative multiplayer

I'm super excited for when MC X360 gets the Adventure update that will be such an amazing day, we will get all new types of mobs, everything will change for the better I remember getting it on PC. what an awesome day that was. I was so excited then my computer just didn't wanna run minecraft anymore. So now I can't play until XBOX version comes out. Oh well. I would like to see all the updates come rather fast since they know exactly what they are gonna be adding in and all the bugs they need to avoid and such. Hopefully the adventure update will hit XBOX in at least the next month or 2. Sorry for the long post just super excited!

Will I be able to link my Minecraft account with the downloaded game on my xbox so I have the same Minecraft username as I do on the PC or will I have to have my xbox live gamertag?

I have another question for skins are you going to hook up your gamertag to your minecraft account and in the profile page it will say xbox 360 skin or something like that?

I'd rather just play with a family member or friend at the house and not have to worry about paying for xbox live. Or can I buy live for a month or two and buy minecraft on xbox and then never have to buy live again?
I'm not a fan of the whole "pay for internet" but I won a 360 with kinect so might as well craft it!

You can sign up for a free(Silver) account, you don't need a Gold account to purchase games on the 360, just an internet connection and an e-mail address to sign up for the Silver account.

MS tends to ignore cross-platform when they can.
It's an XBLA game, is there a point in pre-ordering?
People usually pre-order games in fear of them running out in stores.
