why would you be afraid of a may/june release? they said they are already done and are probably waiting for this gamerscore update by microsoft. they already released the avatar crap as if they were to release the game soon. my guess was march 21st or 28th but since they have to wait for this update i think it may be april 4th.

I had stated earlier that if you go back and look on the main thread that when the xbox version comes out it will not be up to date with the current PC version so PC <--> Xbox servers will not work yet, but they aim for that to happen in the future. The only way this would work is if they had the same configuration. Meaning that the xbox version would have to have the same generation as the PC version so you can play multiplayer together.
There is a 25% discount for people who bought minecraft in Beta. This has been clarified on Minecrafts facebook page.
That page has no information on the creator of the page, nor does it even keep updated...it's latest post was yesterday or so and before that it was January...I find it hard to believe that if it was official, they'd neglect to update that media source.
A bit of a heads up to you. If you read the Home page carefully you will see that we will KNOW the realease date on March 23rd... Its not coming out March 23rd we will know what day its coming out on. So itll be later than that date.
so will we know the release date on the 22nd or the 23rd?

As far as I can see It's been stated everywhere on the xbox section that there will be no discount/freeby's.
