To be honest I do not think it will be. The way it is shaping up at the moment it looks like it is going to be a brillant game. Obviously the PC verision will have its advantages (Texture packs, join servers) but Xbox has split screen and also Multiplayer via Xbox live. It seems really good for only 1600 MS Points. I mean COD maps are 1200 MS Points so it is a bargain.

COD maps are overpriced. The one major advantage this version of minecraft has over the PC version, is that it's a much cheaper version of the game to play. Compare a $199 XBOX to a ~$800 PC able to run it. It's not a problem if you are a PC gamer and have a gaming machine already. But for me, not so. I can play COD games and minecraft with smooth frame rate.
