I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to play on a random server too, if you have a fear of griefers you can just make or go to a friends only server
Absolutely. Being this way yes you can build an awesome pixel art world but who would see it? Me personally i would like to just have a world where everybody can build a house etc. and we can all just survive together
I tottally agree. I hope mojang/4j realizes how social their fan base is!
I honestly don't think mojang/4j has any control over the server size. The problem is with Microsoft. The reason the servers are capped off at 8 players is because the Xbox will not be able to handle more then 8 people on a stable server.

The xbox is not a computer where Memory/RAM is upgradable. It's limited.
I know this is about being able to join other people who are not on your Friends List, but making a multiplayer server search for a game like this would seem sily...
Cap always will be 8.
If that server is popular, you may never get back on that server... you would basically have to wait minutes/hours just to wait for a spot to open up and beg someone else with a faster connection didn't hit "connect" before you.
