The IOS version is cheap only because it has only episode 1. You need the Season pass which is $25 to get all of the episodes when telltale releases each

I'm going to admit that I'm a huge mobile gamer, (sorry, please don't declare war or anything) and say you should get the mobile edition, which is slightly cheaper.
I would say it's worth it. As long as you are willing to replay it and explore the different dialogue routes.
It's honestly not cringeworthy dialogue like a lot of people are saying in general. The dialogue is like season 1 spongebob, so it's for people who are either young and simplistic (quarky) or people with a contextual and ironic sense of humor (meaning they can tell the writers laughed while writing it, and they can understand the personalities of the characters with the dialogue as well as the subtleties of the humor).
The plot is original. A little tropey, but it is still original story-wise. You can tell the characters actually have emotion, and it has a justified villain.
So in conclusion, get it if you like a good story and are willing to play something which is more of an interactive story than a game.

who?
The wither storm or Ivor? I don't consider Ivor a villain quite yet, but he is annoying.
OT: I enjoyed it, but the annoying thing is that my brothers play it, so I can't fill up the save slots, so I have to use my personal one to replay. But chances are, you don't have that problem, so yes, I would say it's worth it.

1. Ivor. He is a bit of a wreck. He triggered the main conflict (witherstorm) and refuses to help the player thinking he can still be the hero and destroy the storm himself. Did I mention he cheats the player out of a trade? In the nether, he refuses to follow the players and guide them. When the player confronts him, he does not even explain why he thinks the super tnt will fail. He simply faults the player over and over again despite being the one at fault. Now, the order isn't much better either. They had some teamwork issues. Clearly, they all didn't like Ivor. Of course, what they did was not right. But what Ivor did was become ansorbed by his revenge and selfishness to be called a "hero", and so he misses the point of the word and puts the world in danger which is very antagonistic. He was justified, yes. But his justification is flawed. I believe he will redeem himself, but it may be optional.
2. Does your brother really use 3 save files?!
3. The OP should change the title because it is at most 25$

I'm almost completely inactive, in case you're trawling through really old threads and notice me somewhere.
Wow, you're right. Guess we know where not to get it. xD
Go for IOS (20) or Steam (25).
ya, I don't quite get why its 5 dollars more. I guess they think they can charge the kids who never can steal their parents computers' 5 bucks extra for their xbox 360s'
Does it even have a platuim trophy?
I reckon the game is not worth more than the actual minecraft game, but if you buy it on iOS for $8 odd the would be a pretty good deal.
It's well worth it.

I doubt its worth it, and I wouldn't be able to decide between steam or PS4 if I decided to get it.
