I have played on all difficulties and going to the swamplands and deep underground late at night and not a single slimes is in sight. What is going on? Any Suggestions?
they don't spawn above layer 40 (10-20 is prime) & will not spawn if your range is less then 20, or greater then 100 away from the chunk, they are a rare spawn, and are less likely to appear then a zombie or creeper, and are not effected by lighting or difficulty & appear to spawn as frequently on easy mode as hard mode, I recommend doing some caving, bring a bed, sleep when you can (sleeping speeds time ingame, which also speeds spawns, ticks on blocks, etc), also ensure your areas are atleast 3-4 blocks high to get the larger sizes,
