With the release of the PS4 Pro in November developers have the ability to patch their game in order to be compatible with the system's capabilities. Without a patch I believe Minecraft will run as if it is being played on a standard PS4 with hardware limitations.
I will be upgrading my PS4 to the PS4 pro in November and was hoping that Minecraft will be patched to improve frame rates and performance. When I currently play using split-screen my frame rate tends to lag and not run as smoothly as I wish it would. The stutterer in frames sometimes creates a nauseating feeling preventing me from playing for too long. I hope with the PS4 Pro that an update is released to allow smoother game play overall.
I understand that this may be a small amount of the population playing Minecraft on PS4, and may never even happen, but it would be greatly appreciated.
I'm also hoping for an update to PS4 Pro since super redstone and hopper systems on my survival don't run smooth when some of the big systems are running it lags and things glitch a bit. It was super bad to the point where it was unplayable before i think when they fixed the memory leak bug.
Minecraft supporting PS4 Pro would be my main if not almost only reason to update to PS4 Pro.
Would be nice to someday have real servers run from a PC for the console play so we can have 24/7 servers with top end gear and run silk smooth even on normal ps4.
