I think monster spawning hostile/passive should be increased or be unlimited. For worlds with tons of people who enjoy having huge cow/sheep/etc. farms
We should be able to pick and choose textured blocks from any purchased texture pack.
I cant not tell you how bad i wish to BUY like almost every texture pack but i refuse to because it makes lots of other blocks and mobs look HORRIBLE. Like i love the festive pack but i h8 that every mob is dressed up so i dont use it....
Then id say colored lights should be added. I want a red glowing room :/
If this version of the game is entering its end-of-life fairly soon, I think the game would still be great. Honestly, I'd be fine if they didn't even release updates past 1.13. There's so much content in the game, I could keep playing for years. That being said, I think there are some things I'd like to see. These aren't necessarily "features", like new items or blocks, but things like auto-jump, which change the game on a more fundamental level.
First and foremost, I'd like to see 4J implement some aim assist with the Bow. The Bow, on consoles, is very difficult to use with how the controls work in the game. When you move the analog stick in a circle, you form a square box on-screen. This makes aiming very difficult, especially in Battle. Perhaps this isn't needed for Singleplayer or on Hard difficulty, but I would like to see aim assist come in some way.
I also think it'd be smart to add a World Painter-type tool to creative, allowing you to place several blocks at once. This could seriously unleash creativity not before seen on this game and would allow players to create awesome, custom landscapes.
Finally, to allow players to show off their creativity, I'd like to see the addition of a world-sharing function. Players can upload their world to a server, and others can download and explore the world on their own. This would, again, do wonders for the creative side of the community.
I'd like to be able to have more control over how a world spawns, like at least be able to choose what biomes and how much of said biomes. This would be for creative purposes, it would make sense for it to only be an option for creative worlds. I want more options for creative worlds that aren't super-flat.
I can't tell you how many hours i've spent just trying to get islands.

Chunk Time Stamp.
When you leave a chunk the game records the time and what is in the chunk so when you come back into it, it will update using the timestamp. That way chunks still run while you're not in it. Farms will have grown, villagers grow up, item sorters finish sorting.........

Hello 4JStudios, please add the markings of the maps through the banners, I also ask that they add the function of the cauldron to clean the dyed Shulker Box and also that they add the new position of the intem frame in the blocks .... (remembering these update has already been added Bedrock and Java editions a long time)😊
Okay, I understand that when (if) PS4 gets crossplay, then a lot of this is moot. But until then, here are a few small things that could help:
- Allow a quartz block to be crafted back into just nether quarz.
- Allow players to tether a boat to fence using a lead.
- Provide a global function to "unsit" all dogs, cats, birds, etc. Once a world has existed for a while, some of these animals are accidentally "misplaced".
- It would be nice to be able to either take 1 item or leave 1 item from a stack. The existing halving function is great, this would be in addition to that.
- Allow the left hand to hold an object (more than a map), even it that object cannot be used. It will help greatly when trying to repair: shovels, axes, etc.
Maybe some of this is already available and I just haven't found it yet. :-)
I like the overworld map reset idea. Of course not places you spent months building, but just mapped zones you've just passed through.
I hate having to restart worlds and lose all my builds just so I can enjoy new additions that only work on unexplored maps.

I'd like to see Minecraft release an invisible barrier block for use in creative mode, and for it to be able to be moved by pistons. Or maybe make a console edition of the command block that can make things like invisible barrier blocks, as well as have other functions.
I'd also like to see a tool or specialty block that can be set to a certain biome and can be placed in any horizontal rectangular "ring" shape to change the area within to the specified biome, the change being effective from the highest sky block to the lowest bedrock in the designated area.
I wish I could choose any block of any texture pack that I purchased, brick, earth, obsidian, or the music of another package for example that of the Caribbean pirates, to be able to use it on the "original minecraft", this would make really nice minecraft on ps4 , or vice versa do it with another mash up, the thing that really bothers you when you choose to play with a different texture pack than the original one is "the interface", it's really hard to get used to the new designs of sword bows apples .. etc. for this at least I always return to playing with the original texture pack......
Custom Mobs (No Mods or Addons, otherwise it would break Sony's terms of use), where you have a Custom Mobs menu and you can create and name any type of customized mobs (using any current mob's AI) and sharing it/them with your friends and/or family. [IF SONY APPROVES THIS]
Barrier Blocks in Creative Menu (to help contain Vex mobs and make completely transparent tanks/animal exhibits.
Exclusive mobs for PS4 Minecraft.
Give armor stands poses.
Make wolves and dogs separated (like what happened with cats and ocelots), with dogs coming in several breeds, and wolves being untameable, but can gain trust if fed bones.
Make wearing zombie heads terrify villagers.
Middle-Ages-styled sleeping bag-like blocks that doesn't set in world spawn, but can skip time to day.
Venus Flytrap-like blocks in Jungles that damages mobs and players like cacti.
Floating ocean villages consisting of some sort of bubble-like blocks underneath these villages to keep them floating on the water's surface and have villagers living on it. (I know that doesn't make sense, but Minecraft isn't realistic anyway)
Minecraft PS4-exclusive decorations.
Increase mob spawning limits or make spawning mobs unlimited.
1) Berry bushes are a great addition, but there are too many of them. The new worlds are generated with far to many berry bushes (IMO), and it makes traveling through the taiga very unpleasant. Maybe reduce the number of naturally occurring bushes to something like cacti in deserts, or even pumpkins.
2) The wandering trader is fun. He seems to appear too frequently, though. I have had many instances where there are 2 or even 3 wandering traders in the area at the same time. Also, on many occasions his llamas do not de-spawn when he does. Every few (real) days it is necessary to cull the herd.
3) After many hours of game play with the V&P update I have not yet found a single Pillager Patrol (or Illager Patrol). Maybe this is intentional, or maybe it is a bug?

I agree on points 1 and 2 (3 makes no difference to me since I like to play on peaceful) The berry bushes are all over the place in the taiga biome, traveling through there on a horse is even worse, and I see the Trader so much, I just think it would make more sense for him to be a little rarer.

I doubt anyone at 4J will read this.

Simply: Mouse and Keyboard on PS4. I have Minecraft on PC, but my friends don't and playing with the controller is just not that practical.

Agreed!

Hi, 4j It's possible that we can use the new textures on PS4 like bedrock

How about a couple that are inspired by PS4 being the only supported console edition:
- Increase the mob caps
- Give PS4 infinite worlds
