Each world, in every version of MC (including ps3) has a "default" spawn point. You, and every person joining your world, begins at that default spawn point. If you, or they, die, that's where you, and they, will be 'respawned'. Now lets say you build a house away from the spawn point. You can change that spawn point for you only by sleeping in a bed placed inside your house. Then if you die, you'll be 'respawned' in your house (or at least where you last slept) instead of the default one. (You probably knew all that.)
I believe what you're asking is can you change a world's default spawn point so newly arriving players show up where you want them to?
Nope. New arrivals will aways arrive at the default spawn point, and that can't be changed.
But, of course, just like you they can make their own new individual spawn point for themselves after they arrive by sleeping in a bed- and when I say "a bed" I mean any bed... it doesn't have to be 'their' bed.
Well with the latest update you should be able to select your spawn point.
To clarify, if your PS3 minecraft has been updated to 1.17, there should be an option to select your specific spawn point.
Yup. I was fooling around with this new addition, and found that it only works for the X and Zach coordinates. The altitude doesn't matter for some reason. Tried seeing the spawn on a platform on top of a super flat, and players kept spawning on the bottom. Not sure if glitch, or intended...
