I was wndering around one of my safehouses and i noticed something odd on the ground. As i walked up i noticed it was the lack of ground that was interesting. it seemed as though all of the dirt and cobblestone become invisible, and the only thing i could see was the lava and different caverns. Though this is a beautiful sight, it has happened a few times now, and it is quite disorienting. Please help.
That is just a chunk error. Every map I have been in has this it just the way the map loads. They will probably fix it eventually. Just don't jump in it lol cause I thought it would push me back and I suffocated in it after a minute lol.
I say johngianni is right and I think that maybe the game just needs to load up the blocks because the game loads blocks, enemies, villagers, and animals 20 meters of your view. PS. the enemies, villagers, and animals are like moving blocks.
Johngianni is correct. I've played two different worlds several times, and there was a giant cube shaped area missing. When the host of the world came to the area it loaded for them. However, it remained not loaded for the nonhost players though. Its not always a matter of world loading for players, because sometimes sections of the world remain unloaded for nonhost players, and thats just the reality of it unless a fix is added. And yes John is correct, entering the nonloaded area will kill you most likely.
