Hello! Would it be possible to open up worlds to a sort of free join list that could be searched and connected to? As it is right now, you can only play the game multiplayer if you have people available on your friend's list, or if someone on your friend's list joins you. That's really lonely if you don't know a lot of people that have purchased Minecraft: NSE.
The person creating a world could perhaps set whether or not non-friends could join, so the host still has control over who joins their world.
Otherwise, really having fun with the game so far, I'd just like to play with others.
On this same note, would it be possible to allow us to connect to servers? I would like to play in a world with my son who also has a Switch, but our work hours sometimes make that difficult for us both to be on at the same time. To be able to go in and do some world building while the other person is offline would be amazing. I know the friends piece is locked down and I am fine with a server authenticating who is allowed on via Nintendo friends as long as that is possible.
The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
As of right now, it's not possible. When the Better Together update hits the Switch coming winter, we will get Realms. Then it'll be possible to do so. The only option you have right now is to keep the Switch online all the time so people can play on your server.
