My friend and I have built a huge city on Minecraft: Education Edition as we are currently both attending high school. However, in a few years time we will both have graduated which means we won't be able to use our school license for Education Edition. As we really don't want to lose our world, is there some way to export the .mcworld into Windows 10 Edition? (or any other edition). I know we will not be able to have the Education-only blocks (chalkboards, borders etc) but is there some sort of way to do it, even with a program or something that tweaks the world to work with other versions?
first you need to find the folder where your world is located and copy it. then you can move the world to the folder where the bedrock edition or pocket edition worlds are stored. education worlds cannot be launched on other formats unless you are changing the data of one nbt tag. after that, you need to use any nbt editor ("nbt studio" or "blocktopograph" or "MCC Tool Chest" or "Universal minecraft editor")
and rewrite the "eduOffer" data tag to replace the value "1" with "0". after that, your world will work in bedrock edition and pocket edition.
I have personally used this method and I know that it works
Hi there,

Thanks
Yes, it works.
