So a lot of people on the bug report site are all hating on the new update, the micro biomes, the lack of mountains, the lack of precious resources...etc... what ever your beef with Tu31 is, here's the fix.
This only works with Disc copies of the game, I was unable to recreate this with a digital copy.
Turn your xbox on
go to settings, network
turn your network off
Go into your games and apps.
highlight minecraft, click start, manage game
highlight main game, click start, uninstall
put in MC disc
Your more than likely in TU 21 through 25, depending when your disc was made in the factory.
go to youtube/interwebs and find the TU25 seed you want.
Make the seed in Classic or Small & survival & peaceful. Even if youre going to only use this seed in creative, still make it survival.
Take out your map and start walking around.
Make sure this seed is the same that you wanted from the internet
Walk around with your map and fill in the entire map, from edge to edge. (now you know why i had to take mobs off)
When entire map is filled in, Save the game and leave.
Copy seed, may 2 or 3. renamed them as BU (backup), or 1,2,3, whatever
Once you have copies of this seed, go to settings, network, turn your network on.
MC will bounce out and say it needs a 800+mb update.
Open youre saved seed, then close and save it. Repeat on all copies.
Now.. what you have is a TU25 seed render in a TU31 environment. Your center map will not have the TU31 minerals or trees.
If you are going to creative, this isnt an issue. Just remember to always keep that backup file untouched if you need to redo your build. If you loose that backup, you need to do all these steps again.
What is if want to expand?!
DONT... at least not yet. if you expand your boarder maps will all be TU31 renders... which will come with the long list of issues you have with TU31 in the first place.
When TU32 comes out, copy the seed... and expand the copy. If the seed renders still suck, delete and continue working on the single map.
When you DO expand, do not choose the option that merges the map boarders (i forgot the exact term). if you DO check this box, all boimes on the middle map and edge maps will splice cutting mountains in half. etc.. keep it unchecked.
depends on the size of your map and how much youve explored . if you have places you havent gone yet, you might be able to load to load tu33 chunks there by visitign them now. any chunks you have loaded while in tu 31... will have the tu31 issues.
Wow, what a fun adventure. I found and played a couple dozen seeds, settling on seven that I really liked. Some for the loot, some for the landscape. I finally chose one that has both and I wanted to share this seed with you.... it works for tu16-tu18.
I used it for the xbox one and made a small map, but it works well on classic size for the xbox 360.

This seed has all the biomes available at the time, including some fantastic extreme mts & extensize jungles. There are four Mooshroom islands in the North, one with a nice sized overhang. I suspect there might be a buried desert temple and or a jungle temple, but I spent more time cave crawling to find +100 diamonds, emeralds and numerous mob spawners. One last note, pumpkins can be found on a small floating land mass at x-257 y98 z-99
