I love the seed I was using to death, but when I came across this one the other day, I made the painful decision to start over from scratch on this new world.
As for features, it would be easier to list the things it DOESN'T have. So, what's missing: A Jungle Temple. Other than that, I can't think of a thing!
Biomes
This seed has a little bit of every biome. It is mostly land, with some ocean, but it's not one of those maps where 50% of the map is water. Plains and Desert biomes make up the majority of the landmass, but there are two small Snow Forest biomes at the top and bottom of the map. There are some Extreme Hills in the southwest corner, so Emeralds won't be a problem. There is a small Jungle, and a couple of regular Forests as well. So you will have some access to Snow and Ice, and all three types of Tress are found on this map.
And, there is a Mushroom Island. It's not very big, but it's there all the same. x: 291, z: 37 should get your there.
Villages
There are 4 decent-sized villages, two Plains and two Desert. Two of these villages have Smiths. One of the villages, the one nearest the center of the map generated right over an exposed ravine, leading to some treacherous navigation, but it's not hard at all to use some dirt blocks to cover the openings of the ravine to keep the Villagers and yourself from falling in.
The other three villages are fairly close in proximity as well. They're not spread out to the far corners of the map like usual. You could easily run tracks between all 4 villages for easy transportation.
Village 1= x: 90 y: 68 z: 6
Village 2= x: 311 y: 66 z: -258
Village 3= x: 4 y: 66 z: -139
Village 4= x: -169 y: 70 z: -212
Temples
There is sadly no Jungle Temple, but there is one Desert Temple near the northernmost Desert Village. Don't remember the loot, but I think the loot in Temples is random anyway.
Desert Temple= x: 186 y: 70 z:-212
Stronghold
This world's Stronghold is pretty epic, but it's a pain. One of the most jacked-up, confusing Strongholds I've ever seen. I wandered around for nearly an hour looking for the End Portal, and finally had to use an x-ray trick to find it. Turned out I walked right past it sooooo many times, but there was a randomly generated torch that was in an odd spot and I assumed I had placed it myself, so I thought I'd been down that hall and passed it up many times.
Also, there are TWO Libraries in the Stronghold! Bring your Silk Touch pick or axe and harvest all the bookshelves you'll ever need!
I'll save you some time and frustration, and give you the relevant coords.
End Portal: x: 25 y: 33 z: 50
Library 1: x: -18 y: 37 z: 70
Library 2: x: -2 y: 43 z: 13
One minor downer about the Stronghold. While I was exploring, I found 4 or 5 of those little altar things where you'd normally find a Chest in a Stronghold, but they were almost all empty. I think I found ONE chest that actually generated and it was crap, but there should have been SOOOOOO many more chests. Maybe that's another thing that'll be different upon each world-gen. For your sakes, I hope so.
Spawners
Now we get to the really exciting bits. I've found about 10 spawners in the world so far, including a Zombie spawner in the Desert that is exposed and visible from the surface. I don't have the coords for that one written down, but just walk around the desert and you'll see a perfectly square pit. That'll be it.
But by far the most compelling find is a double-spawner. A Zombie spawner and just a few blocks over, a Skeleton Spawner!
The coords for the doublespawner are: x: 217 y: 46 z: -235 It's pretty close to one of the Desert Villages, so that's convenient.
There are several more, and I can post a few coords if demand is high, but I prefer to let you all explore and find some of the goodies on your own.
I will tell you this much, though: I found some GREAT enchanted books, including TWO Silk Touch books, TWO Unbreaking III books, and quite a few other good ones. I think there was a Respiration III, Looting I, Fire Aspect II, and more. Of course there's some crappy ones, too. I think I have about 16 Enchanted Books so far, just from Dungeon Chests. It's friggin amazing!
Mineshafts
I'll have to come back and edit this portion later, because my notes on these are all kind of blended together. There are AT LEAST 4 Abandoned Mineshafts that I've found, one of which is pretty tiny though. That one generated too close to the edge and there's not a whole lot too it, but it's worth checking out.
The real fun, though is in the other three. I've cleaned out two of them completely, so far, and got TONS of Iron, Coal, Redstone, and okay amounts of Gold, Diamonds and Lapis. Most of the Mineshafts generated too high above Diamond Level, sadly, but they are still huge, and FULL of great resources. From just two of the three big Mineshafts, I have about 8 and a half stacks of minecart track, and craploads of Wood.
BUT, the third Mineshaft I have not explored fully. Why? Because it is HUGE and has at least 6 Cave Spider Spawners. Honestly I think I found 7 before I just gave up and left because holy cow was I getting my butt handed to me by Cave Spiders. I don't know how common this is, but I have NEVER seen a Mineshaft with more than 3 Spawners, and usually only 1 or 2. But this one has at least 6 or 7, maybe more! I don't know! I saw a few bits of exposed Diamond that I didn't manage to get, thanks to those darn Cave Spiders and some annoyingly-placed Lava. I need to suit up some better armor and weapons and go back.
Anyway, I can't give coords on these just yet. I only wrote down the coords of Chests I found in the mineshafts, but they're not in order so I don't know which chest goes with which mineshaft, etc... I also don't have any idea which of these coords might be safe to dig straight down to, or not. So I need to load the world in Creative and sort this all out and then I'll be back with some coordinates that are safe and make sense.
Oh, and I found TONS of Melon seeds in these mineshafts, so those of you who can't live without a Melon Farm will be all set!
So, this is a pretty epic seed, in my opinion. It doesn't have any crazy formations or mind-blowing terrain features. It's just a solid map that has a little bit of everything, and I mean everything... except a Jungle Temple, but oh well. Beyond that, it's the closest thing to a "perfect" seed I've found.
Give it a go, and if you find anything cool that I missed, tell us about it!
Oh! Forgot to mention, there is a Nether Fortress that is pretty awesome, and is about 75% buried. It has two Blaze Spawners, one of which is exposed, the other is in the buried part of the Fortress, and is covered in Netherrack, so it makes for a really easy to build Blaze farm. Other than that high point, this Nether is one of the most Lava-filled Nether's I've ever seen, so it's not gonna be great for building a Nether Hub sadly.
Anyway, I'll come back soon with Coords for a good entry point that'll put you right in the Nether Fortress, and directions to the underground Blaze spawner.
