I mean like what makes you a pro in survival. I believe in surviving is one of them. But I am pretty sure after you get diamonds and stuff, you would be like every single mob in the overworld is too easy. I mean like what makes survival more challenging and interesting and difficult to accomplish?
It is all up to the player. That is why sandbox games, especially Minecraft, are so awesome. When I play survival, I like to build cool bases and redstone contraptions, but you may want to cave and explore the world. Everyone has their own idea of what a pro is.
The main purpose of any game is to have fun; I myself do not play with any particular goals in mind once I get past the "normal" game (in other words, everything up to the Ender Dragon), which takes up only a small fraction of the total time I spend in a world. If I started over after defeating the Ender Dragon I'd have made over a hundred worlds by now (in my last world it took 109 in-game days to kill the Ender Dragon; my total playtime has been around 4,000 hours or at least 12,000 in-game days, which comes out to 110 worlds, and a lot of the time I spent was getting ready for my post-"end game" activity).
Minecraft's long term game play is about building, exploring, and resource gathering. The latter two while somewhat fun aren't really challenging. I find enjoyment out of building large projects and expanding transportation networks...sprinkling in a bit of exploration/resource gathering to take a break from building.
If you want more goals and challenges you will have to look into mods for that.

I couldn't agree more. After you are well established with a home base, chicken farm (I use Xisuma's), and enderman farm the game is sort of a free for all. In the end game building is what I find most satisfying. Here is a Mumbo Jumbo video about projects in the end game:
Especially after the dragon, I prefer a sort of "Survival Creative" playstyle, where you tackle creative-scale projects, like building a city, in survival.
Another option is just take whatever you can hold in your inventory (which will be a LOT in 1.11) and walk until you find a cool place to make a new home. When you get bored, just do it again. I once had a world with about 6 different bases, all in new and interesting locations.

The Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird would be able to cross the entire Minecraft world in just shy of 17 hours.
What makes you a Minecraft pro is understanding how the game works well enough that you can design something that does exactly what you want it to do that goes above and beyond the norm. For example, everyone knows how to make a cactus farm. However, if you can pull off a design that uses villagers and zombies to play a game of football using the cactus as the football...well, now you're impressing a ton of people.
Yes. Map. Map indeed friend. Map indeed....
But honestly, what..?
I don't know. Make a bigger mineshaft. Make a bigger farm. Have more farms. If it's too easy, you can play Customized and lower the amount of some resources while cranking the difficulty up.

Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.
When I see iJevin's builds in survival. I mean like how is it possible. He built a train station, a cool base, a sky spawner and lots and lots. I mean like the train station for me is nearly impossible. I could build it in creative. It took me 2 weeks to build. But in survival, it requires a ton of wood. I mean really a ton.
I mean like getting sufficient wood is really difficult. I'm always lacking of wood. Is there any efficient way of getting wood rather than wasting tons of stone axes
Well, start by not using stone tools ever Get yourself a diamond axe with Unbreaking III, Eff4 or 5, and Mending. Then choose a 2x2 tree to make your builds out of. I'm fond of giant spruce because they are easy to find and just grow straight up and down, but jungle is decent too if you can get hold of them. Chopping down one giant spruce gives over a stack of logs, and an Eff5 diamond axe is basically a Steve powered chainsaw. By the time you've reached endgame you've probably found at least one dungeon spawner, so rig up an xp grinder to repair your Mending axe when it gets beaten up.
If you wanted full automation there are mysterious things one can do with withers, instructions for which you would find on youtube, but I've seen so many posts from people who had withers escape tree farms and start wreaking havoc that I'd be way too scared to do that myself.
Well, just to tell you that my enchantment room is not completed yet. I can only get maximum up to 22 levels in the enchantment table. It's not 30 and I don't have a grinder and getting xp is a havoc. The combat is much more difficult in 1.9+. And then I had done a lot of fishing and I did not get a single mending book. I had came across a lot of Librarians and did not find one with mending.

Sounds like you have some goals to work toward then. A mob xp trap, a villager breeder and a villager trading house and some farms to get the resources to trade for emeralds to buy things from the villagers would solve all those issues for you. See that's the thing about Minecraft. Getting really established takes some effort and some people don't want to put in the work to get to that point.
Getting mass amounts of wood does take a little more effort than other things because it's more difficult to automate the process. But there are ways. In the world I've been playing in lately I actually have a little roughly 15x15 oak farm in the nether that when I harvest it will net me 4-5 stacks of wood(I'm playing on a small ocean island spawn world). For the spruce and jungle trees, growing the large tree is more efficient.
I like building lots of technical projects that exploit game mechanics and use redstone. Getting diamonds and beating the dragon, and heck even the wither, take a very small amount of time when you think about it. I'm an end game player, I like working on projects in end game with friends on the server I play on.

I made one 'cloning machine'(villager breeder) but it's never working. I put a lot of doors already but it's not working
idk about making it more difficult. perhaps after you get to end game you could come up with random challenges to do like do a caving run with only redstone torches and no armor, or take over and drain an ocean monument (which is necessary to do for a guardian farm anyway), or make a darkfall trap(that's big enough to spawn witches and jockeys) that drops mobs into an arena and survive for however long giving yourself worse armor and weapons in stages until you die. for me personally i like building and expanding an empire, the bigger it gets the more farms you have to maintain (especially if they have lots of redstone). I want to cover as much of the map in my buildings as possible. maybe try playing with the shaders to make it more difficult?, or have a friend join you who's role is to screw with you in small ways like having your own personal herobrine. just some suggestions.

I would say the goal depends on what you want to get out of it. For example, I use survival as a means of telling a story that expresses my thoughts and ideas. That's my goal. Your goal might be different. I think finding the purpose in this game is to identify what you want to get out of it and capitalize on that. Once you achieve it, you have fulfilled the goal of the game.
I'll give an example. Back when I started my main world on June 12, 2013, I did so with intentions similar to those of other people - make a cool base, get all the diamonds, and aim to defeat the Ender Dragon. But as the last few years have gone by (more like flown by!), that goal has changed drastically. I started to see Minecraft as a potential means of sharing my thoughts and ideas through stories. I found my survival world, which by 2014 was well developed, to be the basis for which a story could be told. As such, I've completely changed the way I play survival simply because I've adjusted my goal. Your goal might not be the same, but that is not the point. The point is that you decide what the purpose of the game is for you.

Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
