I was working on my slime farm, all was going well. I threw an ender pearl up my minecart track like usual, and got stuck in a wall, it happens a lot. But this time, I couldn't get out. I got the coordinates of where I died before hand and now I can't seem to find my items. Where exactly could/would the items go? I had quite a lot of stuff on me so I need them. :/
As far as I know the items will be pushed out to the closest place where they can fit. So you might find them all the way up at the surface or in a close by cave.

Found them about 10 blocks up from where i suffocated at, I just had to do some digging and they came pouring out of nowhere. Thanks.
No real harm done really, everyone makes stupid mistakes. I have done the same mistake multiple of times in few different forums. And fyi, I got even worse reaction in them.

Items inside of solid blocks are pushed up to the surface, or until a non-solid (non-collidable) block is reached (this concept is used to make "item elevators" without needing water, droppers, etc); unfortunately, this can mean they will end up on top of bedrock or another inaccessible/dangerous area (e.g. in the Nether; I've never played Stoneblock but I know you are supposed to be underground and one source says the surface is lava).

Your items are dropped inside the wall or however you suffocated
I wonder how hard it could be to CHECK the date of the thread? This thread dates back to 2012, if you didn't notice?
Oh ok sorry

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
