I have an idea for a new Minecraft boss. We haven't gotten a boss for the past I guess 1,000,000 years or so :). So, I have a new idea for a boss. This boss is going to be called the skeleton king.
Structure: The new structure is called the Skull Fortress. It has a huge spruce gate. In the walls first of all is a huge village that lies in ruin. There you could find skeletons with no weapons and some skeletons with swords. At the end is the castle which has tons of skeletons with swords and the final boss.
New Mobs: The New Mobs are the Skeleton Warrior, Skeleton Guard, Skeleton Peasant, and the Skeleton King obviously. The skeleton warrior is a skeleton with a sword or axe, either with a stone or iron swords, or stone or iron axes, and can sometimes have some iron armor. The Skeleton Guard is the same as the Skeleton Warrior, but has a smaller chance to have armor and don't wield an axe at all. The skeleton peasant is a skeleton with no weapons or armor at all. And we'll get to the Skeleton King.
The Village: The village lies in ruin with Skeleton Peasants and some Skeleton Guards. But there are tons of chests. In these chests you can find food, seeds, and other casual stuff.
The Castle: The Castle is at the end of the structure and contains the final boss. In the castle, at the first room is a huge dining room. And there are tons of hallways and rooms. But, there are also libraries and kitchens. And the castle is also filled with skeleton guards and skeleton warriors. But where you want to go is to the throne room. In this huge room there are tons of skeleton guards, and some smaller but still big dining tables. There is a long red carpet leading to the throne chair. In this room there are hordes of skeleton guards. In the castle there is also tons of chests with valuables like gold, iron, emerald, and diamond.
THE MAIN BOSS: The main boss is the Skeleton King. It is a skeleton that is slightly bigger than the normal skeletons. The Skeleton King wears an iron chest plate, diamond pants, leather boots, and a golden crown. The king wields a diamond axe. Since he has a diamond axe, he does normal damage as to a player using a diamond axe, but the skeleton king does 1/3 more damage. There is also a chance that the king could pull out a bow, and do normal damage as a bow, but 1/3 more damage stronger.
Boss Drops: the Skeleton King drops all of its armor and weapons, 15-20 gold, 10-15 iron, 5-10 diamonds, 5-10 bones, always one skull, and the Crown of Bones.
Crown of Bones: The Crown of bones when worn gives you 3 full armor slots, improves your damage from any weapon by 1/3 more power, and boosts your moving speed by 30%.
Well, I hope you like this boss and I hope you don't think its TOO overpowered. Well anyways, have a nice day! Peace!
Yeah those exclamation marks in the title perfectly paved the way to what I was gonna read.
Taking an existing mob, "kingifying" it and calling it a boss is nothing more than a step down. It's uncreative and uninteresting. All of this skeleton stuff just sounds very forced and clichéd. No support.

Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.
First, I would like to give credit to the fact that you put the effort into paragraphing your Opening Post format this time.
About the suggestion: Aside from agreeing fully with the previous two posts, the drop counts for the Skeleton King is just... that much? Plus, the lavish amount of chests is to me a redundant commodity. Also, the crown of bones is, imo, OP.
I really don't think we need another variation of skel power ingame.
Like what Cerroz said, making a skeleton mildly bigger and calling it a boss is pretty lame. And don't you think the drops are to op. 5-10 diamonds? So even if you get the minimum amount you still have enough to craft a diamond sword and pick. It drops all its armor and weapons, including it's crown with no rarity rate? And also do we need the skeleton peasants cuz they basically do nothing

Cerroz, The exclamation marks just add to it so don't even try to guess what I'm "planning". Anyways, so you think this is not interesting? Hey, I made it interesting as I can. It's pretty creative and fun to me at least.
Theriasis, Um, the new skeletons are new skeletons. Jesus they're just there to add to the variety of skeletons. And what do you even expect me to do on a new boss, make it a giant troll with a giant mace and 44 attack power with a side attack of flame whip or ice slash and is a level 100 OP boss found in the dungeons of Moyrel found in the Plains of Desolation. Is that interesting enough to you?
Pandolen, Well, the drop count is that valuable because it's a pretty challenging fight, but I didn't want to make the boss TOO challenging and OP because I saw this guy also making a boss idea but made the boss WAY to OP and made the loot you get from it WAY too OP. So I made the boss strong but not too strong, and again the drops are very valuable because the boss fight is pretty challenging, but worth it, and also the structures are very rare. And if you look closely the crown is not TOO OP. I tried my best to make it just enough. And I think we need more variations of skeletons because, be serious here, who doesn't want a skeleton with a sword. Well, it's not that adoring but it's still kind of cool. Well, we need more skeleton variations because currently skeletons only have bows. We need skeletons also wielding swords and axes too.
DrGalaxyX, um the boss has valuable drops because one, it's a king, and two, the boss fight is pretty challenging. And the crown doesn't have any rarity because it doesn't seem right to make it a rare drop because the boss fight is pretty challenging and also the structures are pretty rare. And skeleton peasants are not "useless" because they're just there to add to the village part of the structure. Not all enemies have to have weapons and cool armor. I mean, in real life medieval kingdom peasants don't have anything.

Could you please try to use the quote button next time (if you don't know where it is it's the speech bubble that literally says "quote" next to it.)
OT: You didn't even tell us the health of this boss, so how do we know it has that much more health than a player, we could just be fighting a skeleton with a diamond axe (and some weird sense of clothing). You also said that it does the same amount of damage to a player but right after that, you say that it does 1/3 more damage. Make up your mind.

No, the drop count is phenomenal. Up to fifteen diamonds is sheer madness, and a crown that improves your damage from any weapon by 1/3 more power, and boosts your moving speed by 30% on a permanent basis (as long as it is being worn) is certainly OP. And the fortress, with all the variations of skeletons from the Peasants to the King, is more like a massive economized civilization of Skeletons, and for what purpose? to provide a boringly large number of average loot chests and endow one skeleton with a bit of extra size and damage capability? And I don't even want to think about the reasons why a bunch of skeletons would need a kitchen - what I mean by that is; you keep making real life references to try and prove your points but there is little realistic about this suggestion. And, really, it is a game, it isn't real life.
Also, as DrGalaxy mentioned, there is Quote and Multi-quote option at the bottom of each post that is made, using them helps to notify other users that they have been replied to and/or quoted, and also helps in constructing a post that's not too disorderly or blurred for people to read.
Yeah, we have no idea what the health of all these skeletons are. We already have normal skeletons, wither skeletons, strays, spider jockeys, and wither jockeys. Isn't that enough to you? And, we also already have a skeleton-like boss (Wither). What armor does the boss wear? How much is "a ton"? Can't you just break into the castle?

Mudshadow63, Normal skeletons are well, skeletons, wither skeletons are in the Nether, strays are only in cold biomes, and spider jockeys are normal skeletons riding spiders. Yah, we still need different types of variants of skeletons because Wither Skellies are Nether, Strays are Cold Biomes, Jockeys are normal skeletons with spiders, and normal skeletons are the one that needs more variants. And the wither is a WITHER skeleton type boss. And I said it in the thread of what the boss's armor is, and a "ton" means "a lot". And you wouldn't have to break into the castle because it has thick walls and has an OPEN gate.
Pandolen, Um, you mean up to 10 diamonds. And the crown is not TOO OP at all jeez. And the lore behind the structure is that it was a destroyed and corrupted Kingdom of Humans. And I know it's a game and not real life. I mean I say one thing from real life and instantly you think that I'm always trying to prove my points from real life?
DrGalaxyX, Um, there's no quote in this except that "useless" thing. Oh and I forgot to mention the boss's health. The boss's health is 500. And don't you dare say that that health is too OP lol. Oh and I didn't notice that the boss does the same player damage but the crown makes you hurt something with 1/3 MORE damage. I need to fix some stuff in this.
Ouatcheur, what's overpowered. The amount of enemies, the amount of chests, the drops, the crown, or the boss itself? Or is everything OP?
Theriasis, Um, the new skeletons are new skeletons. Jesus they're just there to add to the variety of skeletons. Wow, uh... Could you please chill a bit? This just comes off as unnecessary criticism-hate.
Ender-themed dragon --> Three-headed half skeleton thing --> ...slightly buffed "king" skeleton. It's nothing more than a step down for a boss. Also, your comment on 'adding variety' with the skeletons is a bit loaded. Variety doesn't automatically mean "good" unless what you're suggesting is useful/possibly original/unique. Adding anything that wasn't there before adds variety...
I think you should read the unofficial guide in my sig.

The crown is overpowered though. Your description for it goes as follows:
Crown of Bones: The Crown of bones when worn gives you 3 full armor slots, improves your damage from any weapon by 1/3 more power, and boosts your moving speed by 30%.
I'm assuming by '3 full armor slots' you mean another 3 on top of the ones you already have. Let's assume you are snazzy and have a full set of diamond armor giving you 20 protection points. You add 3 iron chest plates using the Crown of Bones..That would give you 38 protection points with no enchantments. That is frankly a gross amount of protection for a pretty small amount of resources.
Now onto the 1/3 boost. A diamond sword does 7 damage or 3 and half hearts of damage per a hit unenchanted. The 1/3 damage boost would do 9 damage or 4 and half hearts unenchanted. Correct me if I am wrong but that leads to a lifetime damage output of 16661 rounded. This means 8331 hearts of lifetime damage. Compared to the original's 12496 damage and 6248 hearts. That is a huge difference, and this is without factoring in damage boosting enhancements.
Finally, the 30% boost applies when walking yes? That means walking while wearing the crown would be equivalent to spriting and there's no hunger drain!
I hope you have a nice day, but please improve your attitude.
what's overpowered. The amount of enemies, the amount of chests, the drops, the crown, or the boss itself? Or is everything OP?
Yes, to all of this.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. I will face my fear. I will let it pass over me and through me, and when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
DrGalaxyX, Um, there's no quote in this except that "useless" thing.
No quote?
It literally says it at the bottom of your reply.
Why couldn't you've just included the health in the original post. And that brings me to the health. The ender dragon has 200 hearts and the Wither has 300. This has 200 more than the wither and already drops so much stuff. If you combine the drops of the wither and ender dragon you should only get a nether star (used to make an enchanting table) and loads of experience. But in this, you get a crown that increases your strength for as long as you wear it

A skeleton with a slight steroid injection and some armor isn't a very "cool boss". I don't think we need more stat-tweaked skeletons either.
