Have you ever wanted a customizable redstone clock that you can easily take with you wherever you go, and not have to worry that much about impact on game performance on the same time when compared to a redstone clock that is just as customizable, and more? Well, do I have the suggestion for you!
The Portable Redstone Clock has a blast resistance of 40 and it has a selector that allows you to limit how many times it can press the button, and it is set to "press 55 times each time activated" by default. You can also set it to "infinite", as well as de-activate it.
You de-activate/activate by right-clicking, toggle the maximum amount of times allowed to send a signal when activated by typing in a number inside the interface, which you can access by pressing "RShift" (Right shift). You set it to "infinite" by typing in "inf." inside the button presser's interface.
It can send pulses in up to 4 directions. Like the amount of times it sends a pulse whenever activated, this can be toggled as well, and it is set to "4" by default.
You can toggle the amount of ticks per second (tps), by inputting a number into the bar. it can be any number in between 12 ticks per second and 0.0005 ticks per second, and it can even be a number like 5.78778 ticks per second. And yes, you can move it with a piston.
Minecraft is not medieval-themed!!! As a matter of fact, it doesn't have a set time. And when and WHY did putting reponses in the quote, especially long ones, become a trend in the Suggestions? It's rather inconvenient, mainly since the OP has to gather your quote up manually. Avatar made by Endergirl!
A block that pushes a button? That seems rather pointless, given that anything which can be triggered with a button can also be triggered by redstone. In fact you can use a simple comparator clock to make a dispenser automatically fire until it empties.
I could also see this being used to by truculent players in multiplayer servers and the result of that being a belligerent environment for everyone. Perhaps rethinking ideas thoroughly before posting them would be a good idea in the future.
I kinda disagree with you guys, due to the disadvantages compared to the button presser. The redstone clock is pretty much a less compact, harder to make, less customizable, and if you want to slow it down by putting more repeaters, even less compact and laggier version of this.
That would be nice to have something spam a dispenser, but It kinda seems pointless to have a contraption that only pushes a Button
Yeah, I guess we should expand its uses. Should we allow it to switch levers as well?

My only issue is the sound of a repeater hitting a button/lever. It would be a pain to listen to.
I guess a solution to that would be to turn the sound of the blocks off while the machine is working, or to give this machine pressing buttons/switching levers no sound coming from the machine or the button/lever while it's on. (But, of course, the sound of buttons, levers, and repeaters will still be there when not used by the button presser.)

Ever heard of a hopper clock? Easily the most customizable contraption in Minecraft history. And you can just use a rapid pulser if you want to spam a dispenser.
This block is just as customizable yet it's compact and possibly less laggy when compared to a giant hopper clock made to be as customizable as this, and it's much easier to figure out.

Can't you use it for something else than pushing buttons/levers?
Not really, but being able to switch levers/push buttons + customizability + blast resistance while being easy to use and compact are pretty important uses. More uses would be nice, but I can't think of any.

Is this a troll thread? You want a block that is a less useful redstone circuit?
No, this isn't a troll thread, and this isn't a "less useful redstone circuit". This is something that is similar to, but better than a redstone clock in many ways, including being easier to use than even some of the most compact redstone clocks, and being more portable. ...did you even read the OP?

If you want a one-block redstone clock, that's one thing. Such a device could send redstone pulses directly. Requiring a button in-between is just kinda silly.

You're right. I should change this to "Portable Redstone Clock".

So it went from a block that pushes a button to a portable redstone clock? That is a big jump.
I still don't understand the need for this. This encourages laziness and is super easy to make.
Why make a block that does something that you can already do? Just make a circuit and stop being lazy.
Also why do you explain the time in pulses per second and not in redstone ticks like every other redstone thing out there?
I will replace redstone dust with redstone blocks in the crafting recipe. And why can't a redstone clock be a small and simple mechanism like pressure plates, levers, etc.? Why does a redstone clock that is decently customizable have to take up so much space that can be used on making more useful and important things? And yes, I know that there are smaller redstone clocks, but they are not nearly as customizable and stuff when compared to this, and they are not as convenient either. This block does more; it has more blast resistance, more customizability, and less lag when compared to the giant and inconvenient ones made to have similar customizability, and why is it a big deal if I don't say the same thing with different words? Still easily understandable, right? It also does not make sounds that can drive someone insane, unlike the current redstone clocks that you can build. And why do you assume that I've never built a redstone clock? I have actually, and in many varieties. I just want it all to be in a more convenient package while functioning better on low-end computers than the bulky redstone clocks made to be about as customizable and stuff.

well seeing that a button takes about a second to decompress, how can this click the button more then once a second, also I dont see how this is more customizable then a regular redstone circuit, and can it be pushed by pistons?

Capture bats and other mobs in a small cage!
Bedrock edition: Using nether quartz to measure light levels
No support, you can just make a dispenser shoot an arrow at the button.
I forum because why not?
You could just to a row of comman blocks and using the setblock or fill command to activate the item. (Or a redstone clock)
Oh hey, finally back after so many years!
I thought this was a joke suggestion to allow players to spam that button noise incessantly.
That would be nice to have something spam a dispenser, but It kinda seems pointless to have a contraption that only pushes a Button
It's rather redundant due to redstone clocks.
I could also see this being used to by truculent players in multiplayer servers and the result of that being a belligerent environment for everyone. Perhaps rethinking ideas thoroughly before posting them would be a good idea in the future.
