I feel that this would be a good add, because this will further fulfill the purpose of being a decoration block, also unlocking more building possibilities, therefore making these stone-type blocks a more worthwhile add to the game.
How do I craft it, and how many bricks do I receive every time I craft one of these bricks?
The same way you craft a crafting table, but with polished andesite/granite/diorite instead of wood. Every time you craft a brick from any of these stone-type blocks, it gives you 4 andesite/granite/diorite bricks.
Minecraft is not medieval-themed!!! As a matter of fact, it doesn't have a set time. And when and WHY did putting reponses in the quote, especially long ones, become a trend in the Suggestions? It's rather inconvenient, mainly since the OP has to gather your quote up manually. Avatar made by Endergirl!
I assume you mean you do this with the polished versions of these blocks, because 2x2 of the regular block makes the polished version.
Still, I support.

The andesite one looks to much like the regular stone bricks. More decorational blocks would be fine, but not if they look similair to existing blocks. But the idea itself is good, so Support.

I'd actually like to see these 3 cobble-stone variants be used in a crafting recipe that would normally require cobblestone to make something different.
Like making an andesite furnace would instead make a "stove" which won't smelt ore, but will cook food in double the time.
Making a granite furnace would make a forge, which could be used with lava. Using this to smelt ore would give a small chance of earning an extra iron nugget or gold nugget.
Or making it with diorite would produce a searing oven, which can't smelt ore or cook food, but turns cobble to smooth stone and other things like that twice as fast.
I would love to have these kind of textures instead of the same bricks but a different colour.
There is certainly some charm in the original brick textures, but re-textures should stay a thing of the past. The new ores and mineral blocks are better than the old copy-pasted ones in my opinion. Inb4 shots fired.

I know, i make a lot of textures, then make something when the title is talking bout' a block or item. Entities I have to draw.

Personally, I feel that andesite, granite, diorite, and their polished variants are ugly blocks that shouldn't have been added, as all they do is clog inventory space when strip mining.
This idea would change that. There would be a lot more uses for them building-wise if we could turn them into bricks. Why not also allow them to be turned into slabs/stairs as well?

-Pixel Format Not Accelerated Problems in Windows 10 Reasons-
1.Old Intel CPU (2nd Gen and older) and these aren't ready for Windows 10.Please downgrade to an older version
2-Slow/Intel GPU (But sometimes Intel GPU just work fine from 3rd Gen CPU or newer on Win10)
3-Update Drivers (recommended for Dedicated GPU but not always for Intel's)
[This signature isn't to critisice Intel/Microsft or any thing of this sort, I am criticising You and You idiotness for not checking the requirements for Windows 10] (If you are annoyed of the ammount of the thread with a "Pixel Format Not accelerated" problem, plz Share this signature
I think, the recipe should output 4 bricks.
Anyways, support!
Changed it to 4 bricks. Also, it says that I edited my post 1 minute from now... O_O

I have to say I like Swaglords original textures better, veen if the andesite one is a little soo similair to the stone brick one.
I support.
As for the textures, I say it should be less of an issue if they look similar to the smooth brick - diorite already looks similar to solid stone. Furthermore it can be made more distinct though texture and resource pack modifying. More brick placeholders for resource packs to utilize is what makes me excited about this in particular.

What do they look like?

Ah, yes, I forgot to say that you craft the bricks with the polished variants. Thanks for pointing that out.
I'm going to compare the two just to make sure:

Time-travel mod request! (It's long over-due and would be fantastic!)

Not even. Blocks are really easy. Adding those variants would probably take an hour.

As long as its crafted with the polished variant, I do like this idea. Support!
