So, if you are like me. Sometimes you play Minecraft on your home computer, and sometimes on another computer. well, have you ever been working on a project in a singleplayer world and wished you had it on your other computer so you could finish it up. Well that is why I think MineCloud should be a thing. And I think it should automatically backup your "saves" folder to the MineCloud website. I also think that you shouldn't have to pay for it. Maybe a default of 5 GB and extra storage would cost money. Please leave feedback! Thanks!

Good idea. My main computer that I use to play video games on is a desktop, and I have a really nice singleplayer world on it that I would enjoy to play on my school computer. I think this could be really useful.

Well there is the chance that online servers could crash, and lose data. Some people like me don't want their things being uploaded to the internet. Also, a 5 GB cap is too small due to the fact that some people have a lot of world that are very large in file size. Uploading too much data at once is only going to cause peoples internet to crash or "MineCloud's" servers to become overloaded and crash, losing millions of peoples worlds. Also, most people have slow internet that cant handle uploading 10+ files that are possibly over 100 MB.
If I wanted to back up my saves, I would put them on an external device. Its fast, quick, reliable, and won't require always being connected to the internet 24/7.
Erm I just use Dropbox..... Or you could put Minecraft on a thumb drive....which should be idiot proof....and using a thumb drive means you don't have to have internet connection.
I don't see the reason of making a full server for this when you can choose to save your directory to things like a portable hard drive to take with you or to a folder using a different free cloud sharing program like Dropbox.

I honestly didn't even know you could put the .minecraft folder to dropbox or a flash drive. That's why I though this would be a really cool idea. Welp, I guess you learn something new every day.

Yeah, I agree with you. Online servers can crash and any data on those servers could be damaged or deleted. Also, why would I want my stuff being uploaded to the internet without my permission?

1. Find Dropbox files location.
2. Make a folder in dropbox ( this is where your worlds/resources etc will be)
3. In mc launcher: edit profile/game directory. Set it to the location of the folder you made earlier.

Not a bad idea! That's actually pretty convenient. But I do think this would be much better for people who aren't so tech-savvy.
I like the idea, this would make playing my survival worlds in different computers easier.

In conclusion, I am not supporting this idea..
