This command is ok in 1.11.2 and before but 1.12 is not working:
/give @p diamond_sword 1 0 {display:{Name:"\u00a76NewNameHere",Lore:["\u00a74\u00a7oNewLoreHere"]}}
or
/give @p diamond_sword 1 0 {display:{Name:"§6NewNameHere",Lore:["§4§oNewLoreHere"]}}
can anyone help please? thanks.
It works before, but 1.12.
command:
output this:
Invalid escape of 'u' at: {display:{Name:"\u<--[HERE]
or command:
/give @p sign 1 0 {BlockEntityTag:{Text2:"{\"text\":\"Click\",\"color\":\"blue\",\"clickEvent\":{\"action\":\"run_command\",\"value\":\"/setblock ~ ~ ~ command_block 2 replace {Command:/give @p diamond_sword 1 0 {display:{Name:\\\"\u00a76NewNameHere\\\",Lore:[\\\"\u00a74\u00a7oNewLoreHere\\\"]}}}\"}}"}}
Invalid escape of 'u' at: ...ond_sword 1 0 {display:{Name:\\\"\u<--[HERE]
Just make a function that has this command:
/setblock ~ ~ ~ command_block 0 replace {Command:"§§§§§§"}
Then run the function and put your command in the command block and use the section signs(§) that are already in the command block for color and erase the ones you don't need. You can change the 0 to make it face whatever direction you want.
with command_block:
/give @p diamond_sword 1 0 {display:{Name:"\u00a76NewNameHere",Lore:["\u00a74\u00a7oNewLoreHere"]}} Output this: Invalid escape of 'u' at: {display:{Name:"\u<--[HERE]
/give @p diamond_sword 1 0 {display:{Name:"§6NewNameHere",Lore:["§4§oNewLoreHere"]}} It give me the diamond_sword but not the color name and lore.
if I install forge and this IntelliInput mod: /give @p diamond_sword 1 0 {display:{Name:"§6NewNameHere",Lore:["§4§oNewLoreHere"]}} will work.
earlier i saw it, i picked this, not work.
umm, idk
