When I transfer an Xbox one world to the new minecraft none of my builds transfer. It's a new world that just has the old seed. Disappointing since I payed $20 for something I was told is free. Any helpful input would be greatly appreciated.
You shouldn’t have bought it.. the official and dev twitters have warnings about that, it’s taking them a long time to manually authorize the millions of people that already own it.
The world transfer bug is horrible though; half my world’s town was converted to new terrain.

I didn't check twitter (face palm) but It would have been a small price to pay if it did what it should. I hope there is a fix coming.
1. Is splitscreen still available on xbox better together version?
2. Does the xbox natural pack carry over?
3. Sounds like I lose my doctor who skin packs that I just bought a month ago.
4. If I download the new version, can I try it with my world and if everything sucks, go back to playing on the xbox version? Then later decide to move over once all the world transfer issues are fixed?
I am not sure I understand the posts above about the person's town being partially converted to terrain. I figured anything explored would just convert over as is. Our world is a few years old and hoping everything converts correctly.
From better together? You're trying to move a world back to the older version?
No. Let me clarify. I have minecraft Xbox one version. Today I bought the better together 1.2 version. When I launch better together it asked to transfer old worlds from Xbox one version. When I do that it creates a world with the seed from the original but none of the structures I built exist on the better together version.
Oh, OK; Take a look at MCPE-26093 and see if you think that's the same issue - you might be able to add something there, if it is. Or if it's a different issue, and you can't locate it, you could raise a new issue.
Here you go.
I'm not copying/pasting the whole thing here because things change and I don't want possibly old, stale information to be preserved here in the forum.
