Nah, not carrying a backpack... has an instant shrinking spell on all tools that allows him/her to carry everything in his/her pockets.
But if the character Insta-shrank stuff to fit into their pockets, they would need to insta-shrink stuff to fit into a backpack item and then shrink the pack to fit into their pocket as well. Essentially, you would then be able to shrink backpacks and place them into other backpacks before stuffing it into a pocket, effectively creating backpack-inception. Why, it could go on forever! IT'S MADNESS!!! There'd be stacks of cobble and a lone mushroom floating around a Farlands-type environment that is the game's subconsciousness, and we'd have to send in Leonardo DiCaprio to get them for us.
