Voxelwind is an upcoming Minecraft PE server platform that provides a high-performance, scalable, and reliable base for creating Minecraft PE servers.
Voxelwind is written in Java from scratch and unlike other Minecraft PE server software projects it is not a modification or port of any other server software (e.g. PocketMine). That lets new Java (or Java-specific) features to be used in development and guarantees high performance.
Voxelwind aims to support thousands of concurrent players at a time and to be easy to use for casual users - it can be used for both large and small servers.
As Voxelwind is intended for wide auditory, it aims to be feature-complete ("comprehensive") - to include all (or almost all, as much as possible) Minecraft PE features. If you don't need all functionality, you can just not use it - most Minecraft Vanilla behaviour will be implemented as a separate module. But as for now, Voxelwind is in early development stage and lacks several important features.
Right now, Voxelwind main developer, Tux, is taking a break from development. He is going to resume work on Voxelwind in early February or in May-June. But you can already try Voxelwind with v1.0.
If you are interested in contributing to the project - you can do that, it's open for contributions. Or if you are interested in sponsoring Voxelwind - you can do that too. As for now, Voxelwind is sponsored by The H***, just to let you know.
P.S. I am not a developer or owner of the project, I am just trying to help it, because against other "server software projects" or PM spoons it seems to be really well thought out.
