I am a rather skilled programmer, but have never tried playing with Minecraft mods of any kind.
What I want to achieve is to call a simple url on any event in the game (Windows 10 universal app).
I have tried the simple approach first, using Microsoft MakeCode. Although it allows Javascript, I cannot find a way to use common libraries to make a http request.
That led me here to see if it is possible to do this using behaviour packs. So far browsing through the documentation I have not found anything, but I would be surprised if there is no way or running any code in an Add-On.
I would really appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction how to achieve this.

I echo this request. I am an educator and I want to provide MineCraft players with URL links to external videos, simulations and quizzes.
Is there a simple way to do this?
Education Edition? No clue other than that
