I have finally finished a long ongoing project of mine. The comments on my old work in progress thread have really kept me going.
[Update 1.3.2] Drastically simplified the installation process (big thanks to Venarium!). Another update with small gameplay changes will come later this month.
[Update 1.3.1] [ATTENTION] I just updated the map to version 1.3.1 fixing some potentially puzzle or even gamebreaking bugs and clearing some points of frustration. I highly recommend playing the new version if you have not yet started or are not far into the game. All you need to do if you already installed the pack is to swap out the old map folder with the new one in the "saves" folder.

About Myst
The Myst series is based on the idea that people are able to "write" worlds (called "Ages") in books with a certain language.
Touching the linking panel of the book teleports the user to that world. The Myst games are known for their great art design and their well made puzzles as well as the giant universe that stands behind it. Cyan, the developers, created a level of atmosphere and immersion that is absolutely unique.
With this map I wanted to get as close to that standard as I could and for what it's worth I am really happy with the result! As you will see, some of the worlds are obviously inspired by worlds from the Myst games as well as the soundtrack that I wrote specifically for the map.
The Map
You start on a world with just a rough explanation of what is going on. There may be contact with other people at the start but from there a journey begins where only you can help yourself. Notes and diarys left behind are all the clues you will find. The player must rely on logic and his understanding of the worlds to unlock the next steps.
>Open the "9.11.1.965.jar" with Winrar/Winzip or a similar program, delete the "Meta-Inf" folder, go into "cpw/mods/fml/relauncher" and drop the "CoreModManager.class" file into that folder
What do you mean by "that folder"? I can't put CoreModManager.class into the "Meta-Inf" folder if I just deleted it.

Hey! Drop the .class file into "cpw/mods/fml/relauncher" within the "9.11.1.965.jar" file. That should do the trick!

What Minecraft version is this on?
It is in 1.6.4! Some mods made updating to a higher version problematic. But aside from installing the map it should'nt bother at all.

Thanks! I think it'd be useful to specify that in the OP.
