I made this map as a project in school without any help. I really hope you enjoy it. I worked very hard on it.
Story
You are Andrew, a poor boy living in a poor house in a poor village. Your father left you to go and find work but he never returned. Now you must follow in his footsteps in order to find a way to provide for your family. A corrupt mayor; a mysterious king; a legendary city.
Find out where this once simple task will lead you.

Thanks so much for playing and I hope you have a good time.
It's a cute map! I really enjoy little maps like this that aren't professionally built but are still fun and VERY LONG. This map is LONG. I had to stop lol. The only issue I have is that you don't have any pictures of the map on the forum here which makes people not download it. The instructions sometimes are confusing in some places, but I can tell by the sheer length of the map that this took a WHILE and a lot of time and effort went into it. I really enjoyed it!
So, I started out liking this map but I just couldn't finish it. I got stuck in the King's castle trying to find a way up to the 3rd floor but eventually gave up after exploring everywhere I could for like 10 minutes. I had a similar issue in the obsidian cave; it was just way too big and took too long to explore, and I couldn't even find the key to the maze. I really did like the story and all the story threads within each area. That was definitely the strongest point of the map. The pacing issues just slowed things down too much for me.
The side-quests were nice but the first one seemed very important and more than an optional quest. The second one was more side-questish but there was no way I was going to wait for 5 stacks of wheat to grow. I also had no idea where Rancher Joe's room was. Is Rancher Joe and Laurence the same person? I'm not sure how the player would make that connection before getting to the end of the lab.
It's a promising map, and very good if it's your first map. Thanks for making it! I hope you'll continue to make maps.
1. Rancher Joe room is on the second floor of the house.
2. Yes, Rancher Joe and Laurence are the same person.
3.To get to the third floor of the castle, use the pickax to reach the crack roof on the ceiling above the table. (Pretty sure a lot of people would have trouble with this part, so dont feel bad )
