For all you guys who begged Sethbling to make a download for the map, I've got the next best thing
Hey, guys! I really enjoyed Sethbling's video series Mega Blocks, where he takes Minecraft blocks, builds them on a 16:1 scale, and puts as much detail as possible into them. I've decided to try and make replicas of some of my favorites (and even some improvements) with the redstone on the outside for easy reverse-engineering. I'm not trying to prove myself better than Sethbling in any way shape or form. The reason my designs may be better is because they use some of the new toys from the snapshots which weren't available back in the earlier episodes.
*BONUS* There's even a surprise in the nether-quartz building, along with other things to explore.
Ender Chest
The pair of Ender chests toward the beginning of the map work just like they do in the 8th episode of Mega Blocks. Almost no modifications. I just thought it would be cool to make my own pair to play with. The only modification I've made is that there's a button that will clear the Ender chests easily.
Crafting Table
The crafting table that comes right after the Ender chests is nothing like that in Episode 1. To use this crafting table, you must drop the items onto the crafting grid on top. Keep in mind the items need to be close to the respective slot.
Hopper and Chest
The Hopper and Chest work as a combo. Like the crafting table, the hopper is nothing like its Episode 1 equivalent. This one teleports items (and mobs and players) into the chest next to it. You can open the chest like you open the Ender chests, but it may be a bit buggy.
Piston + Redstone
The Piston works differently too. Instead of the version in Episode 3, this piston is powered by a mega button and mega redstone, and will push entities and blocks. You can put any entity (including yourself) on the button to activate it.
