So I'm trying to use mcedit to clear out a space under my castle for some dungeons, unfortunately mcedit refuses to cooperate in this task is there any way for me to use mcedit to clear out those blocks. I will note that the blocks are beneath my castle and are invisible to mcedit for some reason. Of course I'm not opposed to using a different save editor to do this.
Edit: So for some reason i kept getting some error about gl i dunno anyways it was seriously slowing me down cause it popped up every time i did something and i ended up restarting mcedit, and it finally did what i asked of it.
So yet again mcedit is refusing to cooperate, this time i'm trying to delete a 500x500 area for a city with a 300x300 castle in the center unfortunately like i said mcedit is not deleting the space i need for that. Mcedit seems to be fairly unreliable at this point for the most part it seems to work fine, but whenever i have an important job for it it fails spectacularly to perform requested tasks. I should also mention that when i close it out it asks if i want to save the changes acting as if it had accomplished the task, of which it did not perform any modifications.
Mcedit finally managed to royally screw me over. There's no going back this time i'm afraid, and with that months of work is lost, due to the huge amount of damage it did. I'm better off starting from scratch at this point. I didn't even notice the mistake until much too late. Dumb program pissed me off with it's constant mistakes until i couldn't see the one mistake that really mattered. In the end I'm done with mcedit it constantly is hassle to use and I have to fight just to get the thing to do anything right. I'm pretty much done with the server map that i was making mcedit saw to that.

A fool prepares for nothing, a wiseman prepares for the problems ahead, and an insecure person prepares for everything that has already gone wrong.
I do make backups, the issue is i didn't catch this until i had done a lot more edits, by then it was already too late. Mcedit's little mistake was that subtle that i didn't catch it. Plus the thing kept making minor kmistakes and being frustrating to use to boot causing me to start making mistakes.. It would be nice if the thing was a lot more easy to use. For starters being able to put a - before putting a number in would certainly help as i assume thatt's how the problem started.

I have absolutely no problems with mcedit and you have to ALWAYS backup your save.
