Do you like TEAM FORTRESS 2? Do you like Minecraft? If you said "no to any of those questions, then what are you doing on the Minecraft forums, dummy? Anyways, if you said "yes" to any of those, then you're in for a real treat. My brother and I are building a FULLY FUNCTIONAL version of one of my favourite TF2 maps; Upward. This will be 100% mod-free, and will use features from the 1.4 update (pretty much just command blocks, from 1.4).
Thus far, we've completed the whole section up to the first point, the cave and part of the section with the second point. We've put about a month's work into it, building on and off, but so far the results are fantastic! Our blocky version:
Of course there will be a class and team selection, so no worries there. Here's a picture of the sapper and I'll end this with that. I'll be updating this post periodically, to show off more things.
P.S: We were working on this map before Sethbling posted his Dustbowl, so please don't leave any comments saying we took his idea or things of that sort. P.P.S: Every time we finish another area around a capture point, I'll post pictures. When the whole map is done, I'll post a video of it and MAYBE put the world up for download. We'll see...
