I'm making an educational server for my 5th grade students. I figure I'm making a ton of interactive educational content, plus they'll be building on their own, but wanted to set up a theme park type area just for fun. I'm found some minigames to download premade, but am wondering if anyone has suggestions on good ones that reset themselves? They're 5th grade, and I'd rather not have them having to reset things and possibly break them. Plus, since it's a server, I can't use the ones you just reload.
I'd also love to have some boat races. I saw some pictures, but no premade ones. I can make one myself, but just checking if anyone knows of a place to find them ready made I can drop in to some terrain. I'm trying to get all the educational content done, which is going to take until Christmas as is.
Thanks for any suggestions!

- Making an educational (but fun) server for my 5th Grade students -
Thanks, I should have been more specific. Right now everything is vanilla as I'm working in 1.7.2 but plan on adding Bukkit as soon as it's stable. I'll need worldguard all over the place. Thanks for the link, that looks great! But yes, if anyone has Bukkit based suggestions that would be fine too. I'm just looking for little fun things, not big things to base a whole server around. It's mainly educational, I just thought some diversions would be nice.
You could always take a look at some videos and make some Redstone Lever puzzles (EG. Have to pull levers in certain order to Open Door, activate lights, etc) Get the 'ole brain working hehehe. You sound like a really cool teacher, and i can guarantee the students would love you for this
EDIT: This here looked pretty interesting, good be a good little puzzle
Also Download a variety of plugins to make Gameplay Better for your students. I am a student myself, creating servers. We also have a Bukkit server at our school so I know what it is like.
Thank you. I had planned on using Bukkit, but haven't ran across any school doing it. I'd love to hear from a students point of view what would be good to do. My kids are 5th, so they're 10, which I'm assuming your not. But feel free to share any suggestions. Thanks, I plan on using Bukkit. My kids are 5th (so 10 years old, which I'm assuming your not). But I'd love any input or suggestions from a students point of view on what would be good to do to keep kids interested.

Are you using vanilla Minecraft or do you have Bukkit at your disposal? You'll probably have more options with Bukkit.
If it's a boat race you're after, then maybe this post will be of use: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1998891-the-boat-race-play-with-up-to-4-players/
Good luck with your server!
