Instead of doing what I'm supposed to be doing and updating this pack to 1.11 like a good little resource pack artist, I've instead been working on getting the Christmas Add-on Pack up to 1.10. So far I haven't made much progress, but I'm made a Christmas-y crafting table! Take a look!
Let me know what you think as feedback is always appreciated. Also, tell me what you'd like me to add some Christmas cheer to next!

Season's Greetings!

This looks kind of messy to me. The wreaths, candy canes, and gold all together seem like too much detail for one 16x block, unless you were going for a kind of overdone (way too many decorations) aesthetic, in which case it looks great.
nter]
Continuing my work on the Christmas add-on pack. I'll start publishing these updates when I know someone actually cares enough to download it.
Self-depricating humor out of the way, today I made the potions into Hot Cocoa:
From left to right, these are normal, splash, and lingering potions. The mug changes color instead of the liquid because I think it looks cooler.
Let me know what you think. Feedback is always appreciated.
[/center]
And it makes sense too, since the symbols on it represents it's job (Like how the peppermint is splash, since it hits hard like the flavor does in real life(Or that may be just me since I'm not a big fan of the flavor)).
More progress on the Christmas Add-on! I may even publish an update before Christmas!
Ladders have candy-cane stripes for no adequately explained reason. The crafting table is a little less over-decorated. The Minecart with Present was already in the pack, but I updated the item icon to accurately reflect the chest-as-present thing.
I hope you all like these changes. Let me know what you'd like me to see next, and if you'd use it if I published an update.

These are great. I want them in-game right now.
I dialed back on the crafting table a little bit. I was kinda going for the "over-decorated" aesthetic, but I honestly think this one looks better.
It look good. Nice to see someone getting into Christmas spirit!
That's a really cool idea.
And it makes sense too, since the symbols on it represents it's job (Like how the peppermint is splash, since it hits hard like the flavor does in real life(Or that may be just me since I'm not a big fan of the flavor)).
I don't know that I'm getting into the Christmas spirit so much as trying my hardest to capture it with a Proton Pack.
Also, DING DING! We have a winner. That's pretty much exactly what I was going for with the mint... except that I DO like the flavor. Also the snow and marshmallows are for lingering since snow sticks around and marshmallows keep the cocoa hot for longer. Sanity has its own internal logic that's sometimes hard to follow which is why I'm so happy when someone gets some of it!
Man, where has the time gone? It's already been a year since the last holiday update! Looking nice as usual, and the crafting table seems a bit chocolatey in addition to the decorations. Am I just a bit crazy? Maybe, but I can barely remember how much time's passed, so hey.

Actually, no, you're not crazy. For the Christmas pack I'm making Spruce the default wood color rather than the normal Oak. Take a look at the rest of the blocks that have inherited this particular quirk!
What do you think? Interesting twist, or just needless quirk? Let me know! As always, feedback is appreciated.
Sad that I didn't get a whole lot of feedback on the bulk of the work I did for the Christmas Add-On pack. As such, I didn't bother to publish it. Even as I was working on it it was already a version behind and I wouldn't have been able to make significant progress enough to give it a proper 1.11 update. Since the season has now passed, it's unlikely that anyone on earth cares so I'm giving up on it until next December... at which point the cycle will start anew.
Speaking of cycles that stink, it's time I finally get started on the 1.11 update. I have to say, I have NOT been looking forward to this. The majority of it is new mobs... which I hate doing. particularly when I can't think of anything particularly cool to do with them because of their theme, or because they're so rare that I never encounter them. Mojang loves doing crap like this. Introduce a totally new feature that nobody's ever going to find without bloating their world's size to half a petabyte! Great...
Regardless, I've been trying to get into the spirit of things by doing cleanup work on the various GUIs and creating the new items. Take a look!
They are...
Empty map (redone) - Paper (redone)
Totem of Immortality - Enchanted Books (Curse of Binding, Sweeping Edge, and Curse of Fading) - Iron Nugget
Structure Void
As always, feedback is appreciated.
What's also appreciated is ideas and player impressions for the new mobs since honestly I can't think of anything new or cool to do with them.
Also, should I release an incomplete update just to make the pack compatible with 1.11 (fix the broken things) or wait until I'm back to 100% finished again? Let me know!
The new mobs could follow a "dark knight" sort of motif...vindicators are armored warriors, evokers are powerful mages, and vexes could be a gargoyle or familiar of some kind...
I've been working really hard to get the 1.11.2 update finished and out to you all. Unfortunately it's a LOT of work as I'm needing to go back and remake a lot of things that I wasn't happy with before I go and make the same problems worse by creating the new stuff. You'll see what I mean when I get finished.
Right now, though, I have The Great and Powerful Squid Face and the Octo-Puss Axe Murderer!
Special thanks to Prophesy Wrecker for suggesting the C'thulhu/Mind Flayer look for these guys. It works really well conceptually with what I imagine the illagers to be: regular villagers that went off to study some sort of dark arts and ended up getting twisted into a horrible form.

This was a good set of suggestions. Thank you.
I didn't end up going with much of an armored look for the Vindicator (partially because of the stupid lack of mirroring on the folded arms), but I did put the Evoker in dark-wizard attire a little bit. As for the Vex, I'm leaning very strongly towards a gargoyle design for them. First I'm going to see if I can make them transparent so they're more spirit-like... but if that fails it's definitely going to be gargoyles!
I'm making a point to fix a lot of old problems and get a lot of the blocks to match better so that it's easier to choose colors to build with. To this end there are a LOT of blocks that are getting changed in the 1.11 update. I've felt I needed to do this for a long time, and I figured that I should see to it before I added sixteen colors of Shulker Box AND sixteen different Llama blankets to the pack to compound the problem further.
So in addition to changing the hue of a lot of the wool and hardened clay blocks, I'm also taking this time to address a few blocks that were in desperate need of revision. For example, the horrible Lapis Block texture I used to have. Right now, I've got three NEW versions I think are pretty good. Check them out, and please let me know which one you prefer:
Feedback is appreciated... and required since I really need to know which of these people like better.

I would say 3, since it has the most of that deep blue (as Lapis should be) in it.
Yea, I'm still working on this. Sorry it's taking so long, but I haven't really been inspired to work on it. Don't worry, I'm nearing the end of the 1.11.2 update so it will be out soon-ish. I'm hoping that I'll be finished before the end of the month, but I make no guarantees.
I'm on the tail end of the 1.11.2 update. If all goes well, I should have it finished tomorrow. I'm hoping for to release it by the end of the week, though of course I can't make guarantees due to a variety of reasons.
I've spend a LONG time working on re-doing all of the colored blocks in this pack. I wanted a brighter palette that would feel happy and up-beat while providing colors that people would be happy to use. A big part of this is that originally I kinda tried to match the default colors... but not really... and mostly they just came out looking bad. Now with this MASSIVE change the pack has a far more uniform look and the colored blocks mesh better with other accompanying blocks like lapis and redstone.
The Cthulhu Illagers oddly remind me of those head crab zombies from Half Life
Keep up the good work, Alvoria!
Ha. You're not the first person to say that, actually. I was trying to make them look more like Mindflayers, but I can actually see how people might have gotten a head crab vibe from them. Ah well. As long as people like them I guess it's fine for them to get either vibe. The important bit is that they be horror-themed since all of the hostile mobs in this pack are to one degree or another.
could you add more custom item textures like kongoseki fushichou
i find them really unique and interesting, an axe custom item would be really great right now as it is a viable weapon now
Shhh. You're not supposed to talk about the secrets.
I make those for people who have supported the pack with comments and feedback. If you start leaving constructive feedback regularly, I might make a custom item for you. That goes for anyone else too. Just know that it's not going to happen quickly. The ones that are in the pack currently are for me, or for people who supported the pack waaaaaaay back in its early development. I like those secrets to be special tributes to those who have made a lasting impact on this pack's development.
And now that I've typed all of that, I suppose I can't be too upset with you about talking about the secrets. After all, "Hidden things are interesting"
BETA RELEASE "Sanity" Is tentatively updated to Minecraft 1.11.2. Please help test it out!
As the title says, Sanity has FINALLY been update to Minecraft 1.11.2. This brings with it a TON of changes and additions. Because there are so many changes, there's bound to be some bugs and problems as I couldn't possibly test everything. If you're a supporter of this pack, please download the new version and test it out. If you find something that looks weird or wrong, or even if you just don't like the new changes, please let me know!
As always when I have a big release, feedback is GREATLY appreciated. I'd really love to get all of the mistakes fixed before the official release for a change.
And for everyone who has waited patiently for this to come out, Thank You! I know it's been a bit of a wait. Hopefully I'll be able to get back on track for future updates. Thank you for your patience and your continued support.
I would gladly help test out, but my potato just slows down to a solid 1 FPS with 1.9 and above
What are you saying? That you're NOT willing to go out and buy a top-of-the-line gaming computer just so you can play with my resource pack? Psshhhh. And here I was thinking you were a fan of my work.
Just kidding of course. But seriously, I hope you can get yourself a better system soon. Potato PCs are no fun.
Season's Greetings!

The potion liquid texture seems to bleed into two pixels on the top of the glass bottle, making it flicker and look weird
Nothing major, but a small detail I feel like you'd like fixing
EDIT:
Seems to bleed in on the bottom as well
