I am trying to change the texture for cracked stone bricks but whenever I change the texture, it doesn't change in game due to some sort of connected textures overriding it believe. Is there anyway you could let me know what I have to delete so that my texture for cracked stone brick will show up in game? Thanks
There is probably like a notepad file or something, that has some basic coding in it for that block; it likely will be named after the block you want to replace.

I did an unusual build using Conquest that I thought people here might enjoy. I made a car in Conquest. A 1930's style Cadillac from Keralis' vehicle tutorial series on YouTube.
I tried putting this texture pack on and for the first time it did work and looked awesome but now I try putting it on Minecraft just crashes and crashes. I have a 32-bit computer and I unzipped the file. Help?

How much RAM do you have and how much do you have allocated for java?
I have 4.50 GB (3.12 GB usable) of RAM and I have Java which is 145 KB in size I'm not sure that's exactly what you asked for. I don't where I can find how much RAM there is available for Java.

Click on Edit Profile in the launcher than at the bottom there should be a segment Java Settings (Advanced). If the box at JVM Arguments is not checked, check it and look for -Xmx the value behind it should be at least 1G or 1024M for this texturepack (because it's freaking huge and needs a lot of memory, especialy when switching packs). Then you should have less problems.
I know that it's probably more work than you would want to do, but it it possible to add more of the textures as metadatas instead of biomespecifics, or give some of the already existing biome specific textures metadata alternatives? Because when I'm trying to use biome specifics it just messes up the whole build, they add random patches of different colored grass and sky, and they are just overall a lot harder to use.
I did try what you said and the -Xmx value was 1G but the textures didn't load and everything looked strange....I think I'll stick to John Smith's Texture Pack but thanks anyway.
Hey monsterfish. I love the pack. I am, however, experiencing problems. I have looked all over the place but can't find certain things. In this video, , you can see that in the second room to the right there are a multitude of unlisted blocks. I have tried to find how to spawn them but to no avail! Also, the upside down stairs textures are the same for me even with the 3d pack on top. Any way you could help me figure this out? Thanks! Much love! -A massive fan.

Love the new update!
-I noticed that for the bird that was introduced in the last update (30:13 v9.6), you can use the river biome to access it now, since the new hawk is plains biome.
-I noticed that there is a (new?) random texture for the wolf/dog that looks like a fox! Finally foxes in Minecraft!
-I LOVE the new 126:6 half bed biomespecifics!
-LOVE the new hangingfish!
-I noticed that you can use foresthills biome to access the original red 126:6 texture.
I think you should keep the darkoak door as the iron door. I like the darkoak door texture better because it looks a bit fancier and kinda feels like having a "new door". I also feel like the darkoak door texture is much more useful and versatile.
Your updates to this pack always amaze me! Keep up the amazing work! <3
P.S. This is what I meant, new random wolf/dog fox texture? It's awesome!
what is the difference between the 1.8 and the 1.7 texturepack. they both seem to have the 1.8 textures in it.
Metadetas are no longer compatible with 1.8 and there are likely a few other tweaks as well like how blocks are loaded, and how item IDs are a thing of the past.
But, With random textures there is somes inconsistency look at the screen.
There is a solution ? Can i choose the texture of the trap ?

The trap door or hatch or whatever its called, can be changed via biomes. So changing the biome in one area should change what the texture is when the block is placed.

Not Conquest's fault. It's definitely mine. I put on Conquest with only 100MB allocated to Minecraft (almost all of it to a server) to see if it would work and it didn't xD I'm laughing at my idiocy.
Can you PPLEEAASSEEEE make a download for a version with no 3D textures? The 3D textures annoy me :/
This seems like a John Smith edit. Maybe try John Smith? The textures are slightly 3D but it's Minecraft, so it's kind of unavoidable with any kind of shading/lining in the texture.

monster, will the ctm carpets be coming back any time soon?, the default textures for carpets are pretty plain. I've just been retrieving the ctm from previous versions of conquest and putting them in the latest release.
Hay I have a problom and maybe you might have heard of this before. I have optifine the current 1.8 version and the resource pack but when I vlivk "play" on the launcher the launcher closes and minecraft never shows up. I tried this without optifine and just the resource pack and minecraft opened. Do you know what I could do to fix this?
My 3D tree textures are messed up. The corners are just a plain green color. it is not pleasant. the rest is great though. How can i fix this?
