So I am not up to speed with the current state of blocks meta-data. But I had a thought while caught in a web the other day. moving through it is slow and trudging, but not unbearable, but has a slower sinking feeling. So my thought is, why not create an alternate web, if possible to be masked like some sort of sand or mud, via quicksand! Think of it stacked in a pit and see how one could be drown in it nice and slowly... without the drowning, more of just being stuck well.
Don't know if you take any suggestions, but I think that this might be interesting. Well, since your pack has so many biome specific blocks and items, how about... biome specific chests, enderman chests and trap chests? For example: sarcophagus (for deserts/desert temple), coffins (dungeons/swamps), common chests, decorative chests, small chests on high legs, treasure chests, ramshackle chests, common boxes, treasure chests... fairy chests? Ehm... living carnivorous chest with huge fangs? Well, maybe you will find anything of this useful.
and you really lack the info that is needed for us to figure it outhow to fix it. MC version, mcpatcher version, mods used or not etc.

if you're referring to the jagged leaf textures that protrude out of the actual block, that is actually a 1.8 custom model, monster has added a bunch of models from an addon pack that another fan made, the leaves are like that. i personally find it ugly and annoying but i guess it adds a new depth of detail to trees... meh.
@kev12east yes you can use them in videos etc (they are for public use by the devs of stronghold)

@Bumper3D/Ahr_Ech as i havent come around to making my pack work with the latest release of mc with the new patcher (which is still under heavy development) i didnt have the time to make everything compatible so unless i post the new 1.8 (ctm compatible version of conquest (which will be seperate from the 1.7 one)) you will have to expect the pack to run into a high amounts of problems with ctm patching

@Paleoneos well there are some people tha took care of the modsupport (like nebux for better than wolves) but ofc its comunity driven and some other people have become inactive due to certain inconviniences so sadly i cant really point in a direction but maybe someone willing to help will show himself *hint hint* ;D
I don't precisely understand how the biome-specific textures work. Is there a way to, say, get the classic glowstone look in any biome, or if I have MCPatcher on do I automatically get the sort of "florescent light" look? That's just an example. I really like the pack, and I also really like the diversity of the biome-specific stuff. Unfortunately I made my builds without it, and when I used MCPatcher some textures looked really strange and out of place.
Also, do you know if the current MCPatcher build correctly assigns the textures to each biome? My build is under an ocean biome and a lot of the textures came up with snow on them, and my anvil was quartz. For now I've switched back to not using MCPatcher, but I'd like it for connected textures at least.

i saw the guy who made the 3-d model pack made a video about it. Firstly, if he did that he must have an optifine with connected textures. How did he do that? i cant get connected textures to work. mcpatcher doesn't have it yet and optifine hasn't updated it with connected textures. And when i do use the 3-d model pack., on the full version of it, not the lite, my leaves are just an image of the texture and purple and black tiles.
When i use the lite version or don't use the 3-d model pack at all. Just conquest, it says use optifine/mcpatcher for connected textures. I have both.
I've heard that Jamzi made the terrain for Bdubs "Survival of the fittest" project... Does anybode (monster ;p) know whether he's active again or that he made the map a while ago (sry for english^^)
i think there might be something wrong with connected textures, on your end of optifines end, i got v8.5 but it did not help, i have made sure that connected textures are ON FANCY. the trees say make sure connected textures are on! yet they are, hope you or optifine fix that =)
Hi, Im loving this pack. I just have one question. How do I switch the textures for the blocks in this pic? Id like the half block to have the round texture, and vice versa. Ive been trying to figure out how to do it on my own all day, and Im stumped!

I had the same issue. I turned my leaves onto the fancy setting and it fixed it. But that's the only solution that I know of.
Running Forge 1.7.10-10.13.2.1232, also does the same in Forge 1.7.10-10.13.1.1224.
