it's unlikely to happen: Atmosphere is resolution-agnostic, so to speak, because very far away objects such as clouds and the Sun can be high resolution without looking out of place in a low-res pack: even if a cloud would be made out of 1 m3 blocks they would look just like tiny points from a long distance.
High-res rain and snow would look weird, though, because they're very close to the player, and low-res weather would look weird in a high-res environment. It might seem like a trivial issue, but if my pack looks kinda realistic it's because I'm very careful about such details.
I like to give details because it feels more professional, and I use a simple system for that: I keep my changelog in a text file, and when a new texture is done I update it, so when it's finished I'm sure I didn't miss anything.
BTW I have a question for you people: you probably know that shulker boxes can be tinted, for a total of 17 different textures; Mojang just changed their color but I don't want to make them all the same in order to enhance their decorative value, too bad I don't know how.
If you could have 17 differently designed shulker boxes, what should they look like?
I'm not talking about different models because it would be over the top (and I hate doing models), I'm just talking about the texures. Any input would be great.

It would be cool if each shukler box had its own pattern or an ornament. It would give them specialty and a better choice of which shulker box you use
Yeah, I was thinking about something like that, but I'm not sure how "realistic" would it be if those magical boxes were ornated with pink hearts, polka dots, green camo and such. My issue here is Pixel Reality being a pack focused on realism with a vaguely "vintage" feel, I really don't know the whole concept of magical boxes from another dimension could fit in there.
Just a quick update to make PR compatible with 1.11, no new blocks or mobs.
New Stuff
Realms icons for news and world generation.
GUI for the Shulker Box.
New symbols for Treasure Maps.
A new panorama for the main menu, just because.
Tweaks
Fixed a little error in the corner of customized world preset icons.
I'm not editing the OP because the editor is a damn mess so I'll probably need to redesign it from the ground up. If you can't see the download it's because it takes a while to update, here's a direct link:
Hello, waiting for llamas and shulker boxes? Maybe something from incoming 1.12 too? Nope.
All I got is an update to Pixel Reality Luminance, with darker nights, colorful dawns and sunsets, and many tweaks. I'm announcing it here because PRL's own thread is kinda desert and I'm too lazy to keep it updated anyway.
Regarding the new things that the main PR pack is still missing: did I mention I'm lazy? Too many things to do, not enough time to do it. I'm going to update PR soon, but it will only feature compatibility with 1.12 new GUI, which required an awful lot of work because Mojang just hates well centered buttons. It'll happen in a few days, then I'll start working on the rest of it.
Very, very unlikely. Years ago I started doing some BoP blocks, but when I realized the amount of work needed and how much I was lagging behind vanilla updates, I just gave up.
I loved this resource pack, thanks you very much for making this <3 i featured this on my video, here's a link if you'd like to check it out
hope you keep updating it thanks!
Thank you very muchfor your kind words!
Signed in just to post that this is one of the better packs I've ever seen. First realistic pack I've seen that didn't look weird to me.
Any chance of adding the weather effects to the atmosphere pack?
it's unlikely to happen: Atmosphere is resolution-agnostic, so to speak, because very far away objects such as clouds and the Sun can be high resolution without looking out of place in a low-res pack: even if a cloud would be made out of 1 m3 blocks they would look just like tiny points from a long distance.

How close are you from the 1.10 update?
Not much, I'm very busy with other projects (completely unrelated to Minecraft) so I can focus on PR only a few hours per week.
If you people believe there's some specific texture that really needs an update I will consider releasing a partial update with those textures only.
I love this texture <3

I'm already working at making planks look different depending on wood type, sooner or later I will release them.
Uuuh... 1.8 download link doesn't work!
I just tested it and it does work, the pack downloads and it seems fine.
Just click the "View all 20 downloads" button and then click on Pixel Reality 1.8.9.zip, the download should start normally.

Would you update to 1.11? I've been busy as of late so I just have 1.10.2 to offer. I'll start working on 1.11 as soon as possible.
This man, this.
If i just could vote this best pack of 2016.
It is amazing how you didn't miss out any detail!!! Reminds me of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for some reason.

By clicking "view all 21 downloads" you can download any version, including 1.7.10 (here it is: https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/pixel-reality/files/2281241).
Of course it doesn't have new things added later, but if you really need something not included there I will consider updating 1.7.10 too.

What about Biomes O' Plenty support? Can we expect to have it someday?
