Hey so I tried running the installer on my computer to test it out, and it saysthis version of the program does work on my computer. I run a 32-bit version of Windows Vista, so I need a 32-bit version of the modpack creator. Can you perhaps take the time to create it for me? If you ever do, contact me at [email protected]
This weekend I'll be working on the next version of my modpack creator. If you guys have any suggestions, please post them here, and I'd love feedback on what you think. And this should be common sense, but if you find a bug (I'm looking at you Mac and Linux users), please report it here. Thanks, and enjoy.
Hey guys, new version out with some pretty necessary bug fixes, so I highly recommend updating. I just released this at about 2 in the morning where I am, so be on the look out for more bugs due to sleep deprivation.
I'm having an issue where when I hit the install modpack button the application queries the yes/no questions then goes not responding for a while and then just goes back to the same screen asking to install modpack or delete modpack. There isn't any verification that the modpack is installed and the profile doesn't show up. I followed the video tutorial and believe everything is configured correctly.
Any suggestions how to fix this?
Thanks.
Edit:
Friend suggested a version mismatch but everything seems to be lined up correctly.
This is very good to know about, but might I suggest a sub-directory installation option (like .minecraft\[profile name]). I personally find it very useful since it allows me to have multiple instances using the same version of Minecraft. I suggest sub-directories when installing my (on hiatus) Modpack, but I would use this installer if it supported them.
Glad you like it.
Just uploaded the 1.8 version, check it out under all downloads.
I think you need to include nipples at the start up of the modpack, just nipples.
We just need to realize how important nipples are.
Umm... So, Nipples are important you say... I really don't know, how to react to that.
Neither do I.
uh, i would like to try your thing, but i would like to know how to use it first please.
edit: oh, looks like this video tutorial here might answer my question.... *watches video*

Thank you in advance if you do!
Perhaps I should clarify. I need a 1.7.10 32-bit version
Sorry about that, I'll have to recompile. I haven't touched this project in a long time so I'll have to see if I can find my source code.
Finally updated the main thread, check it out.
This is actually nice and helpful, but when I installed the mods, the forge version for 1.7.10 was wrong.
I tried changing the forge but I had an error dring the instalation
Any help?
I've always had trouble creating modpacks, awesome program.
Version 2.0 has finally released, and supports just about every version of minecraft! Go check it out!

I attempted to use your ModPack creator, and all went well until I tried booting up the new profile it created. It read that Minecraft forge had failed to download due to error 404: page not found. the link was in the description: "http://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/net/minecraftforge/forge/1.7.10-10.13.4.1558-1.7.10/forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1558-1.7.10.jar". I found the new link: "http://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/net/minecraftforge/forge/1.7.10-10.13.4.1614-1.7.10/forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1614-1.7.10-universal.jar" and tried inserting it in the place of the old link in the ModPack Properties notepad file, and made a new profile with the updated link, and experienced the same problem. I copied the link it used from the description and it was the same link as the one from the first time, even though I had changed it in the ModPack Properties. Where else do I have to change things to get it to use the new link?
