This is it! Adventure Awaits, a mod that showed much potential, is returning, but it needs your help! Please contact me if you have any desire to contribute any assets to this mod. I want to make it a community effort more than just my ideas, so please feel free to tell me your ideas!
For those of you who don't know what Adventure Awaits is, it is a large scale adventure and RPG mod that adds in loads of dungeons to the Overworld and Nether, while also adding new villagers and their respective houses, adding new crops to farm, and even some new dimensions to explore!
BE READY TO READ, AS THE SPOILER BELOW IS ALL OF THE IDEAS I CURRENTLY HAVE FOR THIS MOD!!!!!
What is it?
Adventure Awaits in a mod for Minecraft that revamps the entire game, turning it into an epic-scale RPG experience, complete with levels, mobs, bosses, and so much more!
Levels: you now have a player level with this mod, that is not affiliated with the XP system whatsoever. You can increase your player level by slaying mobs and bosses, and enchanting items.
Currency: currency in this mod appears in the form of 4 different types of coins: Copper, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. You can obtain these coins from slaying monsters and bosses, or finding them in coin purses, which spawn in dungeon chests. They are used primarily to trade with many different modded villagers, which can yield you incredible new items.
Alternate Currency: there are some alternate currencies that can be dropped by monsters, or found in dungeon chests. Diamond coins can be found, and are needed to purchase items from the Diamondsmith villager, who will give you great gear and other items in return for your troubles.
Structures: these are not dungeons, but rather small structures that house monsters that can drop useful (or sometimes useless) items. Some of them also have chests with loot for your troubles.
Current Structures:
Marble Cavern- appears underground, mobs are Marble Slime, Marble Skeleton, and Marble Juggernaut (a skeleton with Marble Armor on).
Muddy Pit- appears in swamp biomes, only mobs that spawn here are Mud Slimes, drop Mudballs
Pigman Hut- appears in the nether, houses a Zombie Pigman spawner, appearance of a player-made, obsidian hut with a nether brick roof
Lost Soul Tree- appears in the nether, atop the tree, which has grey Soul Logs, and White Soul Leaves, is a spawner for Lost Souls
Dungeons: they play a massive role in Adventure Awaits. These dungeons hold the relics that you must collect, for it is your destiny. There are so many, that you say it may be impossible to collect them all. I say nonsense! So get exploring, adventure awaits!
Relics: these items/weapons/tools/armor/literally anything else that is listed next to a boss name, are considered Relics. They can only be obtained from the boss of a dungeon or an event. They have something unique about them, whether it is a debuff it inflicts on enemies, or something like that. Relics are listed directly next to the boss that they drop from.
Biomes: there are a couple new Biomes added with Adventure Awaits. They are listed in detail below.
Breakfast Bog: A biome based around the most important meal of the day; Breakfast! New breakfast-themed mobs inhabit this biome, which is filled with pools of syrup, and has tree logs made of waffles, as well as breakfast themed dungeons. The boss of the biome is D.O.N.U.T., who is a gigantic donut with the ability to rain sprinkles down on the player, and summon mini-donut minions. He will drop the Mini Donut Staff, which summons friendly mini-donuts to fight for you.
Prehistoric Plains: This biome will take you back in time. The monsters of this biome are all prehistoric themed, and so are the dungeons. The boss of the Prehistoric Plains is the Slimeosaurus, who will eat nearby mobs to regenerate some hp. He drops the Blade of Gluttony, which will heal you for 1/2 a heart when you slay a mob.
The Tar: This biome is covered in goopy, black tar. You are probably not going to like it here, ever. Pools of tar scattered around the biome spawn Tar Slimes, while other mobs like the Tar Mutant and Tar Skeleton roam around. The boss of The Tar is Grub, a giant, mutant worm-like being, who is made of black tar. He will spit tar at you, and occasionally charge at you. He will also do a devastating Tar Vomit attack, which will inflict the wither debuff if it hits you. Grub will drop the Tar Scepter, which fires Tar Shots at enemies, which will slow them down.
Sweet Swamp- A biome that is a swamp made up entirely of candies and sweets! Lollipops grow on the sweet grass, and cotton candy trees rise above the sticky, sweet water. Mobs like the Jelly Slime, Cotton Candy Cow, and Candy Corn Unicorn (which is extremely rare, but can be tamed and ridden!) spawn here, as well as some of the dungeon mobs, like the Candy Rockers and Mint Men. The boss of the biome is Gumdropper, a very large gumdrop that will leap into the air, creating a quake on the groud when he lands. He will also spawn little Gumdrops, that will hop after you and attack you. Gumdropper will drop the Staff of Gumdrops when he is killed, which will summon friendly gumdrops to fight alongside you.
Haunted Forest- A very spooky forest where the trees have dark gray, rotting logs, and deep purple leaves is a place that nobody would want to visit. But if you are a brave adventurer who can stand a few scares, the Haunted Forest is for you. Many spooky new mobs can spawn in this biome, such as the Spooky Skeleton, Pumpkinhead Zombie, and Ghost Creeper. Skeletal Hounds can also spawn here, but only at night. The boss of the Haunted Forest is the Headless Horseman. He appears as a player-sized humanoid riding atop a purple horse, which emits dark black particles. He wields the Spooky Axe, a weapon that will inflict blindness upon you if it damages you. The horse and horseman share a health bar, so when the horse dies, the horseman dies too. He attacks by charging at you relentlessly, taking passes by rather frequently. When killed, he will drop the Spooky Axe. The Spooky Axe, when wielded by the player, will inflict the wither debuff on enemies attacked by it.
Dragons: these big-bads are some of the most difficult monsters to fight in this mod. Taking down a dragon gives you a dragon spirit, and these can be used to craft many powerful late-game items.
Major Dungeons (technically dimensions):
The Vale- Vale Queen (Blade of the Vale)
Toybox- Teddy (The Teddy Bear)
Skeleton Castle- Skeleton King (Bone Blade/Skeletal Armor) {S-Key}
Nightmare- The Chain Man (Knife of the Sinner) {Final Dungeon and Final Boss!}
Dimensions: entirely new realms that will give you even more to explore.
Lumia: a realm that seems to be in the depths of a massive cave, Lumia is full of lively, glowing blue flora. Luma Moths peacefully fly around the dimension, but hostile mobs also exist. The large Lumic Beetles scuttle on the ground, and Lumic Skeletons charge you with swords in hand. The boss of Lumia, known as Luminus, resides in a massive castle. You will battle through Royal Lumic Guards to find the last room of the castle: the boss room. Luminus awaits inside, but beware; she is one powerful sorceress.
Other Structures:
Volcano- home to the Flarelings, who build villages inside them
Eskimon Village- home to the Eskimons, an eskimo-like beings
Tribal Village- home to the Tribelings, mainly found near jungles

Magix and Spells: another branch of the mod entirely is the magic branch, called Magix. In order to learn spells, you have to obtain scrolls from dungeon loot chests (or you can craft them, but that takes much longer). There are 5 sub-braches of Magix; Harm, Health, Shield, Soul, and Special. Each will be explained in more detail below...
Harm: obviously, this sub-branch is focused on damage. The spells in the harm branch, such as Earthquake or Fireball, are meant to deal damage to your opponent. Other spells include Iceball and Tornado. Harm spells normally cost a fair amount of mana to cast.
Health: this sub-branch is all about healing players, whether it is yourself or others you're healing. Spells like Healing Touch and Close Wounds heal directly to a player or yourself, while the one damage dealing spell, Life Leech, allows you to sap life from an enemy, and use it to heal yourself.
Shield: this sub-branch is very self-explanatory. The spells in this branch, like Armorskin (resistance i) and Absorbance (1 heart absorption), allow you to shield yourself before doing battle with a mighty boss or a wave of enemies. Shield scrolls are generally found in knight or paladin loot chests.
Soul: this sub-branch is smaller than the rest, but very unique. Soul spells cost a lot of mana to cast, but they will do you wonders. Second Chance is a spell that will, once you hit half a heart, will make you invincible for 10s, and give you Haste II, so you will swing faster. Valor is a spell that will, once you kill a certain amount of enemies, give you a damage boost. Soul spells are very unique, but very mana-heavy.
Special: this sub-branch contains spells only obtained from beating Magix Dungeon bosses. Each of them is unique and serves a purpose in combat.
Magix Dungeons: these dungeons have something to do with the Magix portion of this mod, and each of them is incredibly unique. When you defeat the bosses, you can find Magix Orbs, that will give you new, special spells.
All Magix Dungeons:
Mana Catacombs: Mana Elemental (Magix Orb: Mana Bomb)
Mana Cloud: Mana Wyvern (Magix Orb: Wyvern Claw)
Mana Castle: Mana Knight (Magix Orb: Mana Blade)
Mana Cave: Mana Troll (Magix Orb: Trollskin)
Mana Tower: Mana Paladin (Magix Orb: Mana Shield)
Events: these happen on occurrence in your world. They often consist of some new mobs coming to attack you, and are often themed around those new mobs. A list of all the events can be found below. Moon events can never occur at the same time.
Events:
Blood Moon- has a small chance to occur at night. This will cause new mobs, such as the Blooded Reaper and Sanguine Skeleton to spawn. There is a boss that can spawn, called The Blood Keeper. He appears as a large humanoid, dressed in Black Robes, with blood red eyes that glow in the darkness. He wields the Dagger of Sacrifice, which allows him to, upon hitting you, sap your life. He is rather slow and easy to avoid, but is immune to ranged attacks. You must fight him with melee. When he is killed, the event will end early. If he isn't killed before morning, the event will end without you having to defeat the boss.
Blue Moon- has a small chance to occur at night. This cannot occur at the same time as a blood moon. This will cause new mobs, like the Bluu Slime, Bluu Bouncer, and Bluuskel to spawn. There is a boss that can spawn, which is Abluumination. It is a large, blue being, that will spit large, blue fireballs at the player. He can also jump into the air, and crash down, causing ripples in the earth that will deal damage to the player. When he is killed, the event will end early. If he isn't killed before morning, the event will finish without you having to kill the boss.
Apocalypse- has a very small chance to occur at the start of the night, and is filled with zombies, zombies, and more zombies. The event will only end when daylight dawns, so be equipped and ready to take on a horde of the undead brain-eaters. Towards the end of the night, Patient Zero will show himself, and he is a tough, bulky boss. He will smash the ground, and throw rocks at the player. Once the night ends, the event ends, and all the zombies will burn.
Alien Attack- has a small chance to occur at night. This event consists of small aliens, called Gorbs, with strange technology. They are short, grey, and utilize laser weapons. A few hold laser pistols, while others use laser sabers. The boss of them, The Dark Gorb, holds a red double laser saber, and can do a spinning attack. When he is defeated, the event will end early. If he isn't defeated before night's end, the event will end without you having to kill the boss.
Solar Eclipse- has a small chance to occur during the day. During a solar eclipse, new versions of Vanilla mobs will spawn. Solar Cows, Solar Sheep, Solar Pigs, and Solar Chickens will spawn during the morning, and Solar Zombies, Solar Skeletons, Solar Creepers, and Solar Spiders, will spawn in the afternoon. The event will end when the sun sets.
Day of Titans- has a small chance to occur at the start of the day. In this event, large mobs called Titans will spawn, but only in the overworld. They wield massive, yellow blades called Titan Greatblades, and they will drop Titan essence when killed, which can be combined with diamonds to create Titan Gems. Titan gems can be used to create large, powerful weaponry, worthy of the Titans themselves. Be careful when approaching Titans, as they are hostile, and should not be fought until rather late-game items have been aquired. The event will end when the sun sets.
All of this and more can be found in the massive Adventure Awaits mod!
None of this content is exactly official yet. I would need the help of many more people than just myself, so please, if you would like to help make this mod a reality, please consider contributing!
New Ores
There are 7 new ores in the Overworld, and 3 in the Nether. The 7 in the Overworld are Quartz, Pink Quartz, Blue Topaz, Sapphire, Ruby, Dark Iron, and Rose Gold. The 3 new Nether ores are Flare Iron, Burning Topaz, and Firegem. They all have tools and armor to go with them, and some of them have other uses.
New Dimensions!
There are currently a few different dimensions planned, which include the two in the poll above, Elysium and Lumia. More are planned than have been shown, so keep your eyes peeled for spoilers here and there .
More information, including some contests for new dungeons or even dimensions, will be given soon! I hope to see this mod take off in new and amazing ways
If you would like to ensure that this mod goes through to the end, you can PM me about helping with the mod. Coders are always welcome, but even if you can't code, don't be shy! I'm a nice guy, and I love watching people collaborate. That being said, everyone is welcome to submit ideas, and who knows; maybe I'll really like your idea and add it to the mod!
Sort of, but it has no team currently... but I'm going to update the OP in a couple minutes. It will have a massive spoiler (and I truly mean massive... it took me 11 pages to print the whole thing on paper ).
:| wow thats alot of junk I see if it does become a mod ill be sure to try it out
Those are just ideas. I still need to find a group who isn't busy to start working on the very basis. Only about 1\8 of that content above would be used, as most of it is just junk

Those are just ideas. I still need to find a group who isn't busy to start working on the very basis. Only about 1\8 of that content above would be used, as most of it is just junk
