Sorry, I've been really excited about this mod since I saw PopularMMOs vid on it and I can not contain my excitement.

XD I guess the Movie since the Avengers Assemble Hawkeye look is base off of that one. ^^ If I have to choose between Hell Boy and Hawkeye, it would have to be Hawkeye. XD Sorry, I'm a big fan of Hawkeye for the good guys and a big Loki fan for the bad guys. (Actually, Loki is the only bad guy I have ever liked when it comes to comics. XD) Alright, I won't apologize and I'm glad. ^^ Again, I'm a really big Marvel Comics fan, so if you need help with it's superheroes just ask. ^^ (I got into Marvel when I was 4 thanks to my big brother reading me a Wolverine comic. XD)

Obtaining the Suits:




I was looking back over the past few pages of comments and saw the 'Points' system and 'Blind Bag' ideas you have/other people had and really liked them. However I came up with an alternative just in case that doesn't work out (though I hope it does ). It will involve one new generated structure and a new villager like mob as well as some new crafting benches. The new crafting benches will have two different names: 'Marvel Hero Construction table' and the 'DC Hero Construction Table'. These would be obtained through two different crafting recipes. The DC Hero Construction Table would have the following recipe:

The Marvel Hero Construction bench would have the following recipe:



X=Crafting Bench

Y=Nether Star

These two 'Construction Tables' would be used to craft the Superhero suits (with the exception of mutants(read-on)) and would require certain items only obtainable through two new mobs: Hephaestus (for DC) and Tony Stark (for Marvel). These two heroes would be found in two new generated structures: Hephaestus' Temple (as seen in several DC comics) and Stark Tower (as seen in hundreds of comics and several films). Hephaestus' Temple would have several mythological beasts guarding it that you have to slay before you can gain the 'respect' of Hephaestus (reach him) and Stark Tower would have drones and drones/robots/androids guarding the tower that you have to battle before you can convince Tony you can be trusted with the suits (reach him). These two mobs will then be able to trade with you certain items that you need to craft the suits in the tables.



As for obtaining mutant suits, that's more complex. First you have to use a new item called a 'Syringe' on yourself to gain a 'Syringe of human blood'. This can be placed into a new block (that has a GUI) which you can then use Eyes of Ender to randomise the chance of obtaining a mutant suit. It would not have be random as you would have the option to choose before-hand which suit you wanted the chance of getting, however if you did choose then it reduces the chance of getting the suit. The suits would be relatively rare and have different rarities.



I MUST STRESS THAT I PREFER THE 'BLIND BAG' IDEA MORE, THIS IS MERELY A BACKUP PLAN!!!



Current Suit Features:




Daredevil: Daredevil should receive blindness 1 at ALL times.



Hulk: Hulk should receive regeneration 3 at ALL times and should have much better armour.



Storm: Gliding should have a keybind as a pose to being compulsory. Also perhaps you could add a feature that allows her to create mini tornadoes.



Ms. Marvel: Ms. Marvel should have her flight capabilities as well as being able to shoot energy bursts from her hand as is in the comics.



Nightcrawler: This feature is purely aesthetic, but whenever he teleports he could leave a puff of blue smoke.



Wolverine: This guy needs a MAJOR regeneration buff, as in around regeneration 4/5.





New Characters:



Doctor Strange: Abilities: Flight, several different spells (I can create a list of all the coolest ones if you want), can travel to the Nether and End without needing a portal.



Galactus: Abilities: Can turn pigs into zombie-pigmen, can turn baby zombies into zombies, can turn villagers into zombie villagers, can reverse all of the previous abilities.



Pandora: Abilities: Teleportation, magic, can enchant weapons without needing to use an enchantment table.

Items: Dual Pistols, Throwing Knives.

As for the Nightcrawler thing, I realised I couldn't see the effects because my particles were turned off. Also did they change the armour system then? Because when I was coding in 1.6 you could have it higher than diamond. As for Ms. Marvel, are you adding the variations? The blindness for Daredevil would be annoying I agree, I just though others may want it. And hooray for Blind Bags working
