I have added aspects to various items but at this point I need to get caught up on adding support for all the new content.
Update 0.6.14 - Knapped Flint and Chipped Flint Blade becomes separate items - Work Blades are not longer shears - Added Flint Shears - Bitumen Generates in the Nether - Flowing Bitumen Burns in the nether - Misc Recipe Changes - Extra Meats - HordeSpide Spawn Biomes Added - SearingLace can work as flintAndSteel - Some Saplings will Plant themselves instead of despawning - New Bucket Types: clay, nether, obsidian.
The Dev has been working on some really cool aspects to this mod. A lot of which I know people will like. Thought I'd bump this since An Sar is back in action!
Yeah the speed has been adjusted down in the current development build. Also they don't spawn any longer as stand alone entities in the overworld, instead their eggs generate with the world and have to hatch.
I will try to get an updated build out as soon as possible.

Awesome! Using the mod in an upcoming low-tech pack I'm working on and those spiders are brutal and mega speed
I was testing on a server with a friend a while back, before I made the spawning change. The map was kind of an isolated jungle island, and we were totally overrun after a few nights. Now after switching to just generating eggs they might be too uncommon, in causal gameplay I have only encountered the spiders a few times.
If I helped you in any way or agree in my ideas or posts, make sure you click that green arrow pointing up below my post or simply huggle me! I use 1.7.10 (Modded), so when I comment that I like a 1.8 mod, I will comment to downgrade to 1.7.10. I support no pics, no clicks. Suggestions that I think that are the best deserves a banner!
It is almost time to say goodbye to 1.7.10 because of the recent surge of big 1.9 mods.
Why MCreator sucks: jcm2606's file (doesn't open a new tab) He allows/welcomes anyone to link the file, so I put it here in my signature for people to know how MCreator functions. I thank jcm2606 (he's awesome) for creating the document/file and I'm just here to spread the word.

greetings An_Sar I really enjoy your mod and I thought it would be cool to add it in my (currently private) nether based modpack: the realm of Dianite, I do however have a question: is the mod compatible with biomes o' plenty? other than that I can't wait for the next update!

Yes and No, this is something I might need to add a config hook for.
I implemented my own nether world provider to allow some custom spawn code to respawn players in the nether, that override I think is not compatible with biomes o plenty nether as they have their own world provider as well. I am willing to do some tweaking as needed on my end.
Also if you have a link to your pack, I would be interested in checking it out.

automagy, biomes o' plenty, baubles, code chicken core, cofhcore, evilcraft, fastcraft, fast leaf decay ,forbidden magic, gany's nether, goranium mod, ichun util, infini bows, inpure core, inventory tweaks, MAGNUM OPUS, mantle, natura, necromancy, nei addons, nei integration, nether eye, nether ores, not enough items, oldowan obsidian, open mods lib, ore dictionary converter, primitive mobs, pam's harvest the nether, rei's minimap, thaumcraft, tt core, waila, damage indicators. (note: I may have left some useless core/lib/util mods in the pack but you should be able to "weed" them out)
Cool, I have been using BoP on my server, but had the nether disabled specifically for testing, I will take a look with it turned back on.
worldgen and everything else will work, the only thing that will definitely not work is the respawn code, from my understanding this requires certain settings within the provider class.

Are the hoard spiders supposed to be lightning fast? They are a pain as it is without them being insanely quick.
